Blurb:
Ginny is a producer on Ex Island, a dating show where former couples try to rekindle their relationship.

Unfortunately, the show has recently been acquired by nightmare corporate mega streamer, Stream+, putting the future of her beloved show at risk.

When Ginny’s own shitty ex, Jesse, shows up as a contestant, she thinks there’s no way things can get worse. For Ginny, nothing has ever been easy, so of course she’s wrong. Someone begins sabotaging the show in increasingly violent ways, including poisoning Jesse’s partner.

In order to save the show from cancellation, Ginny agrees to ‘fake date’ Jesse and join the cast, putting their relationship to the test through a series of embarrassing challenges as they try to investigate while fighting a growing sexual tension.

As the show and their investigation force them to face issues they buried ten years ago, Ginny realizes the one real thing she’d ever had was Jesse... but she knows better than anyone when that comes to TV, anything can be faked— especially love.

Ex island is a contemporary romance complete at 90,000 words, similar to True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren, Fan Favorite by Adrienne Gunn, and Love Overboard by Kandi Steiner. Inspired by my own career in reality television for the last ten years, Ex Island is the vibes of a 'behind the scenes' look at Love Island with the twist of a buddy cop romance between contestants. By day, I have worked on some of your favorite reality and scripted series, from 90 Day Fiance and F-Boy Island to Heated Rivalry, and by night, I hope to bring that same fun, can't-miss, romantic comedy feel to readers with my books.

A notebook page with the text that reads: MEET THE COUPLE.
On the left, a fan cast image of a brunette woman with messy hair in a casual t shirt (Actress Margaret Qualley, but any brunette with curly messy hair would be appropriate). Text reads:
Ginny Gardner, 30
Virgo
Lead Producer, Ex Island

Hyper-focused on her career, Ginny is organized, anxious, and logical. Will do anything to prove herself and will do it alone. Raised by a woman who gave up on her dreams for a man, Ginny knew she’d never let that happen to her. Prone to panic attacks and a phobia of bridges. Lets her personal life and self-care fall apart to take care of her show, her mom, and her friends. Been alone and independent for too long.

On the right: A fan cast image of Bad Bunny. Text reads.
Jesse Amos, 32
Gemini
‘Unemployed’/ Contestant
A golden boy golden retriever that people like immediately--which pisses Ginny off to no end. Responsible, reliable, emotional, and extroverted--wears his heart on his sleeve and isn’t afraid to show he’s still angry at her after all these years. Physical touch. A little Dom. Large Cuban family. Former aspiring professional soccer player, until Ginny broke his heart.

Beneath that, it says
