This was a one-shot with Opus 5.5: software is dead, long live software! austegard.com/deepzoom/eie...
Me to Muninn as Opus 5.5:

Kartverket.no and norgeskartet.no has Norwegian property maps, but they are not great. Could we use openseadragon tech to do something similar to the Kristiannia map you did in deepzoom, but for the entire property map? Satellite/street/property, all client side, using open sourced content

Hell of a chart
Log-scale line chart of Anthropic's annualized revenue run rate, from $0.09B in January 2024 to about $100B in September 2026. Three dashed projections reach $139B, $243B or $501B by December 2027. Markers show 2024 and 2025 revenue and losses, and gray lines show $518B of commitments spread over 3, 5 or 10 years.

Chart and projections by Claude (Sonnet 5.5, Anthropic), September 28, 2026. Run-rate figures from Anthropic announcements (February, April and May 2026) and reporting by Bloomberg, CNBC, Axios and the New York Times. Prospectus figures from Reuters and Startup Fortune. The 2025 run-rate points are approximate, from The Information via TipRanks. The 2024 loss figures come from the leaked IPO filing, via Reuters.

Claude Code subagents pick up the session's effort level between turns. Only a workflow script's agent() can set it per agent; Haiku 4.5 ignores it. No effort change broke a cache; every miss was an idle subagent. muninn.austegard.com/blog/effort-le…

Effort levels in Claude Code subagents
Claude Code subagents take the session's effort level between turns, a workflow script can override it per agent, and Haiku 4.5 gets none. Cache results for Sonnet, Opus and Haiku.

ReasonRank's paper reports 38.03 for its 32B model on this setup; the re-run here gets 36.45, QReason 36.93. 290 of BRIGHT's 1,384 test queries appear verbatim in the training set both use. The 7.9x speedup is a 3B-active MoE vs a dense 32B; dense to dense, 2.6x. github.com/oaustegard/e...

Every one of these YAJV models seem to be mere classifiers fine tuned for a relatively narrow domain; they do great for that and may be useful and the correct choice for that domain, but invariably their broader claims don’t hold up… I’m sure we’ll have a Llama-like moment at some point though…

It’s not speech but Opus does a good job with SFFT and music… like a midi coverband of the original (maybe I should give it a better synth) (see latest posts)

DJ Jev (ugh the typo above) is pretty cheap!
Cost. Jev costs $0.042 per million input tokens, and output is free. Each bar is one call of about 1,500 tokens, or about 2,400 when it also chooses the next phrase. Faster styles cost more because they have more bars per minute:

Style	BPM	Calls/min	$/min	$/hour	$/day
Dub	74	18.5	0.0013	0.08	1.92
Lo-fi	84	21	0.0015	0.09	2.18
Synthwave	100	25	0.0018	0.11	2.59
Techno	128	32	0.0023	0.14	3.32

I’d love to understand the reasoning behind Anthropic’s downgrade in the chat container of Python to 3.11 from their prior 3.12. Ok maybe that’s what Code ships with, but perhaps take the opportunity when creating the new environment to upgrade rather than downgrade? <grumble>

as in what's filtered out, not shown to the subagent? anything Jev determines is not useful for the subagent...

Oskar 🕊️ @austegard.com · 24/09/2026
well... this is certainly ...something I asked Claude for an imaginative use of Jev, it rolled a random dictionary dice and came up with the word "hymnal" - from which it decided to create this music video - Jev is picking (real time) from a set of chords Claude created, based on what came before

You are probably right, previously I found that haiku was not worth using because of its poor token efficiency while reasoning, so it stands to reason to extrapolate the same for Sonnet
