Here's 9 "grails" I own on #vinyl. Pretty nice representation from nearly 25 years of collecting. AMA. #vinylsky #musicsky #vinylrecords #jazz #rock

Not sure this is really "breaking news" unless you don't know that the ALP has a supermajority in the lower house? Tell us how it goes in the upper house (the Senate). #auspol

I own four turntables in total, but this one might be my favourite. It’s a mid-70s vintage LP12 with some minor early 80s upgrades. It goes toe to toe with my current-era Rega P6 easily. I usually only play jazz on the LP though and everything else on the Rega. #vinyl #hifi #musicsky #linn

How about those Epstein files though? What's next, the truth about JFK's assassination?

My heart doesn't exactly break for this bad faith actor. by which I mean #newscorpse, but the nearly 80-year-old lamenting the potential challenges to expanding his "portfolio" can also be shot into the sun. #auspol

Here’s my “unofficial” haul - a.k.a online purchases which arrived this morning. Most are Japanese pressings (heads, ozzy, scorpions) except the new (sealed) and the jazz.

Market acquisitions today. Aussie pressing of Canadian band The Guess Who? (before they adopted the name) on the obscure Gem label. Sleeve has seen better days, but the LP is nice. #vinyl #musicsky #vinylrecords

I dunno, maybe at least match the top level warning we have for Indonesia? Or Thailand? The US currently rates the same level of status as countries such as Canada, Singapore, Switzerland and New Zealand. The violence and threat is clearly not limited to areas involving protest.

This is hands down my favourite former Beatles solo album. Harrison must have had heaps of material building up which he couldn’t add to the Fab Four’s final albums. He’s joined by a stellar list of skilled musicians in compiling this outstanding album. Original UK pressing. #musicsky #vinyl

George Harrison’s epic “All things must pass” on vinyl LP records.

#nowspinning Tom Waits - “Rain Dogs” original US pressing from 1985. It’s hard to summarise this album. His work seems to be polarising: people seem to either like his work or can’t stand it. If you are in the former category, this is a gateway drug. #vinylsky #tomwaits #classic

#runningsky I’m slowly getting my running mojo back. Trying to get used to *regular* 5km running. I did this across 2-min/run 1-min/rest intervals today, a slight improvement over the non-interval pace (same route). Feeling good, but still struggling between 2-4km (~half way). #running #intervals

Thrilled with this return to form. Despite badly rolling both ankles in April and secondary covid issues, I completed a full 10km run this afternoon and I’m closer to a sub-6:00m/km pace. I was ~1:05:00 for 10km before injury. Dropped 1 kg this week, hoping that keeps going down. #running #fitness
