my art tablet is still broken, but if I get the motivation I will try scanning in some watercolors this coming month... #artfight2025 Anyways, I made a frame for my attack thumbnails this year, same as I did last year...

A "team Fossils" themed frame with amber bones and the word "Fossils" around an empty circle.

Taking a developmental bio class. Lots of genes are named using acronyms and numbers which can be confusing to remember. Lucky me, biologists agree, so I now know about Humpback, Smoothened, and Sonic Hedgehog. All named very descriptively. What in the world made them to call this one Gremlin?

Image of screenshot from poster's lecture slides listing stages of chick limb development in chickens versus ducks. First are two image showing the areas BMP is expressed, then a pair of images showing where Gremlin is expressed, followed by images showing where cell death is occuring, and finally pictures of a newborn chicken and duck's feet. The bullet point beneath says "Only ducks express the BMP inhibitor, Gremlin, between the digits."

There's something terribly cruel about having hobbies that take up time as a disabled student I'd love to work on the animatic that's whirring in my brain but I have exams to study for and work to go to Wish I could play that game but I'm too tired to focus on the story I'm playing it for #artist

I have a curse with electronics. They quake in my very presence. Headphones? Wires frayed and coating dissolved. Earbuds? Plastic shattered, speakers fried and broken. Chargers? Only if you twist them just so! But taking my drawing tablet cord is too far! #artiststruggles #digitalart

representation of the poster bangs on a desk with a broken cord. Text reads: "What, do I go back to Paint and a mouse??? Like a caveman? Why..." The quality is of the art is low and clearly done in Paint.

I realized a while ago that I don't know how to set alt-text for an art piece. Now I realize the advice I've seen revolves around web design, either SEO optimization or accessibility for tables in e-books/the like. What do people who need it want out of alt-text on art? #disability #accesibility

Beautiful lights. This one I had to use my mouse to create, and I was trying out some new lighting techniques, so it feels somewhat messy. If anyone is curious, these creatures I'm posting are from #paintedrelics, an arpg I am desperately trying to turn in winter quests for. #art #arpg

An OC on a... sled ride? It was more her daughter's thing. It's been a month since I completed a piece with a background. Even longer since I attempted a challenge like using only the lasso tool (I cheated at the end with a blending brush, forgive me). #art #sled #paintedrelics #arpg

So, my art tablet is broken, and I have very little art saved to my device. Terrible time to be an artist setting up a new platform. Have this piece of pixel art I did for someone using my mouse a few days ago. #art
