Finally getting around to the latest DLC for Stellaris, and I have to say I enjoy the specimen aspect that they added. Gives you more of a reason to hunt down anomalies and archeology sites. Much better step up from the Cosmic Storms DLC to say the least.

I'd be very curious as to it's intended operation. Like, gotta be a server or office or something.

That looks absolutely fantastic! I'm legit jealous. I hope it's as delicious as it looks.

Funny how they always seem to forget the part about not wanting to be exploited

Certainly feels like people here want to connect a bjt more than just sharing jokes and having a laugh. I find it really refreshing that people want to engage more here

Oh for sure, and that's the fun in all of it, isn't it? Who knows what's out there.

the positioning of vaultboy's foot is exactly where the greedy jerks need to be kicked.

They definitely know what they are doing there.

The fact that he withdrew shows that whatever was in that report, it was super spicy.

Would you say that Balatro is worth playing in that case? Personally, I never really like feeling like I had little control of winning or losing

I think the old girl's got it in her to take on Ceres

Absolutely terrifying to see that little goober in the dark

Real mood there. I would love for jobs to come looking for me while I'm also looking for work

Pretty sure the Moon can take Ceres in a fight

I don't think we're alone, but I do believe that the likely hood of us ever meeting our interstellar neighbors is exceedingly low. People always think of aliens as more highly advanced but for all we know, WE are the advanced aliens

That wolf zipping about when someone falls is quite creepy. Certainly motivates me to not fall.

I never understood why the Weezing was a fairy subtype.

Oh dude, I remember that series! Such an interesting concept. I would totally play a game set in that universe. Definitely has lots of potential.

So dang true. I've always wondered why people think programming a game is so "easy" and not the tremendous amount of work that it is

The Sonic games soundtrack is the absolute worst part. they supposedly lost it last second and threw what we got together super quickly and sloppily. So crazy. Also the plot kinda sucked imo.

It's honestly what makes it so hard. So many people are not there to make an earnest argument. As far as they are concerned, their opinion is the only one that matters, and nothing will convince them otherwise.

There's definitely something to be said about the little guy. I always thought it was a bit goofy like the Urbanmech, but darnit if it ain't cool as well

Whenever I heard that song in my old job it made me cringe a bit. I will say it's a bit of a bopper though.

Allie Ucinski @auroraoflight.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

It's weird to me because like, I doubt that like half the country even uses twitter, and with all the bots like you said, it most certainly ain't how the country feels in general. Unless we are all crazy nuts of course, in which case I wouldn't need to be there to know that.

000

Allie Ucinski @auroraoflight.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Oh man how true that is... I've had that happen so much.

How can anyone do that towards such a pretty little baby? Some people really need to get some help. You have a lovely little baby for what it's worth.

I always thought the game awards were very silly myself. Like who cares what wins what or gets nominated for whatever.

000

Allie Ucinski @auroraoflight.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

One thing that I feel needs to be said about the game awards is that I think that too many people put such a high value on their hobbies that they feel that any negative statement on said hobby is an attack on them. I know it's hard, but people aren't attacking you for liking something that you like

I always feel like card games have a tendency to not really be very noticed.
