"Do you swear to help ALL animals? Ugly or small? Mean or tall?" If you do, then check out the origin of the Animal Rescue squad in @xannador.bsky.social's amazing comic: Dragonstar! (link in the replies)

The characters Kyle (the human dragon rider), Banana (his paternal dragon caretaker), and Pretzel (the owl-weasel) gaze over a cliffside at the beautiful ocean. A distant roaring can be heard in the sky. Oops! Pretzel got startled and dropped his favorite snack :(

What if The Glass Pyramids were a real band in the Hi-Fi Rush Universe? 🎶🎸 #HiFiRush #art #headcannon 💎✨

A reimagining of the soundtrack's official Spotify art, drawn in the style of the game's tutorial stage "rock" posters 🎶

The idea goes like this: because "The Glass Pyramids" are the ones behind the game's original music, and the the songs are all diegetic (canonically coming from Chai's MP3), that implies they exist in the universe of the game, right? And since their music absolutely dominates the soundtrack, it's safe to say that they're probably Chai's favorite band as well! Which means that TGP are the ones who both inspired him, and blew him off the one time he got to meet them. It's an interesting connection!
