I have yet to get a good exposure of the moon. I'll look up "loony 11". For the 40 minutes, I was accidentally at f4 instead of f2.8, so either the moonlight/Rainier will blow out bright, or the f4 will underexpose the sky. Possibly both at the same time. And then there's the condensation. Lol.

I got lucky and after sunset the wind vanished. Incidentally there MAY be a film version of this using Cinestill 800T. We'll have to see though. The 40 minute exp may be been long, and I have a feeling the lens clouded from condensation right away. :P Glad you like and let me know how it goes.

This was static. Canon 6D Mk1, 3200iso, 26 seconds with a very wide 14mm lens. I may have stopped it down to f4 for sharpness. If I was going to be properly complete I'd have taken a sky shot with the tracker and then the landscape shot, though we're looking due north, so star movement is low.
