Was not given pain medication. Told to take ibuprofen. It’s not even 100% that this boot is the correct size for me. Thank goodness I have access to medical cannabis because it’s helping with the pain so much.

I don’t see orthopedics until the 30th. I literally am just recovered from a shoulder injury/about to be off of work restrictions. Now I can’t work at all.

Wednesday - spent all day trying to get a knee scooter. Wheeling myself around my apartment using a desk chair the last 2 days. Today - momma fox goes and picks up a scooter for me because the dr I saw Tuesday night at urgent care sent in a prescription. No standing. No walking. No driving.

I broke my foot by LITERALLY WALKING. Monday night - I turned a corner, rolled my foot somehow, felt and heard a pop. Adrenaline gets me through the rest of the day. Tuesday - can’t even move a blanket with my foot. Go to urgent care and they X-ray it. Fractured. They fit me with a boot.

I called emergency maintenance in a panic and the guy rushed over with big fans and an HVAC. This is all in addition to having only one good arm at the moment because of a right shoulder injury.

I must admit, my birthday has been a difficult thing for me since 2018, losing my papa a week before my 28th birthday, his memorial service the day after my birthday.. Then I lost Riley 3 days beforehand in 2022.. I’m trying to make it a good day. It’s a constant work in progress.
