Even religion was dumbed down to nothing but feel good vibes. I see a weird parallel between that world and the world of 'infinite custom AI content'. Not a genuine emotion, thought provoking statement, or anything to challenge a person and help them grow in sight.

I don't know why they think "infinite content but zero soul" is an attractive concept. I think its a symptom of everything being classified as 'content'. Nothing is meant to endure, its content to be consumed and then tossed aside for the next thing.
