Installing E-Day now 😎

Gears of War E-Day drops tomorrow and yes I will be playing it. Actually going to get Gamepass and boot up my Xbox and play. It’s been ages since I played on the thing 😆

I haven’t started the Knight of the Seven Kingdoms yet but that will be after I finish HotD ofc. I heard it’s great as well though. Maybe they just learned to not do as they did with GoT and shaped up after? 😆

I gotta be honest. I think I like House of the Dragon more than Game of Thrones. Because while yes, I love the Targaryens so I can be bias with that. But only the first 4 seasons of GoT I enjoyed the most. It fell off after for me. Whereas HotD I love every season.

Not to compare apples and oranges but it’s just a thought I had.

Y’know, the way that Goodbye Lara played out makes me appreciate more just how Gwitch was and did things. Despite the “interpretation” mess it made it very clear and was a satisfying ending that is still iconic to me.

It just comes down to the intention and use/purpose. I look at things like that.

I’ve seen a lot of people complain about the new Kindle prices. Totally understandable. But it’s literally the economy rn and no one is obligated to buy the newest thing y’know? For me, depsite the price point that upgrade will pay for itself. As these things can last decades.

I feel Kuro really doesn’t give you much of a choice but to do the paywall route for Shorekeeper… At least the stuff they give you this time compared to before is waaay better.

I'm waiting for them to be on streaming but Forgotten Island and Hexed I really want to watch. They really look like they'll both be good.

Beyond pleased to reveal that we’ve partnered with @youtooz to bring you Lenore and Annabel Lee in plushie form. These two will be sold as a set, with magnets in their hands so no matter what they do, they can never seem to let go of each other. (It’s canonically accurate!)🖤

For once I am unbothered by a Steam Sale. Can you believe it? 😂 I only picked up Outlast Trials and the Warhammer game from the deep discounts. Otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten anything in general. Ya love to see it 😌

About time Amazon locked in and made a page turner but they also got a magnet case with buttons like Kobo’s have too! Plus this “fig” color? Gorgeous 😩🤌

It's like, sure I *should* play the games I have bought but here I am enjoying Wiz 😂 But it feels better doing that rather than focus on my backlog of games where it's a "checklist"

I need to get back to playing Fire Emblem but I started playing Wizard 101 after years (childhood game) and it's been such a vibe. Still such a good game and it's going strong since 2008. I'm sure a lot of ppl here have never heard of it but you just had to be there since back then, haha.

I got Jingran just before Hsin dropped 😂 I literally didn't think I would win 50/50 so my strat was to just get guarantee for Hsin lol Not complaining though! I need more fusion users and I like Jingran. Finally got one of the boys in the game now too 😆

Glad it's not just me having issues with Silent Hill Townfall. I think I will just hold off on continuing until it's patched. Because if I'm frustrated with things now then there's no way after I beat the first ending I'll want to do the rest of them...

000

Aura 🥀 @auraevolved.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

It feels like since it’s a short game they wanted to make it longer by doing the heavy stealth. Otherwise there’s literally an achievement to beat the game in 4 hours 😅 Which uh, how? Idk if I could do it even in easy if my normal rn is a pain. So idk fam 😔

000

Aura 🥀 @auraevolved.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Yeah I definitely cannot recommend it to anyone who doesn’t like stealth at all 🫠 I was aware of it but the way it’s structured is a pain and more than I expected 😭💔

010

Aura 🥀 @auraevolved.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Story seems interesting and I love the atmosphere. It’s a shame it gets lost with having to be crouched all the time… Oh and Akira Yamaoka isn’t involved in the music at all. Like why? 🫠 So yeah, I have my peeves with it. Going to try my best to keep progressing I suppose 😭

Aura 🥀 @auraevolved.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Weapons are scarce and sure, makes sense right? But they break if you breath on them. You can’t really use them or you have nothing. I found 3 planks total in the early Simon start. Which is like 1 to 2 enemies u can kill max. That’s only for Simon too. The other mc you don’t get jack 😭

100

Aura 🥀 @auraevolved.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

The enemies are very much like TLoU clickers but less intimidating 😭 But they're more unfair for sure. Literally they can shoot hooks or something from their chest when you run and you die in like two hits. Hiding spot? Sure if you can perfectly interact with it... If you find one near you too.

100

Aura 🥀 @auraevolved.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

It’s playable and all. Just annoying. Especially for normal it’s not forgiving and it takes a lot of time to get through areas because of the constant pause. You are especially more vulnerable when you play another person that isn’t Simon (mc).

100

Aura 🥀 @auraevolved.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I do think it needs patches/updates essentially 😅 I mean, I remember with f where the end game was fixed from locking you behind the fights because of complaints. So I imagine Townfall will be updated.

100

Aura 🥀 @auraevolved.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Otherwise it's a lot of pause and hope they don't see u even when you are hiding. Because the enemies are very sensitive. The amount of times they see you even when they shouldn’t has been high 🫠

100

Aura 🥀 @auraevolved.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

So right now I am at a part where you gotta stealth perfectly around a hospital to get things. You can't outrun enemies and the only thing you get to help with stealth is a spare bottle or brick to make noise once in a blue moon 😭

100

Aura 🥀 @auraevolved.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Silent Hill Townfall so far has been…okay. Sadly after the opening you literally are locked into stealth 24/7. Saves and auto saves literally suck since they set you back to the start if you don’t time a save. It’s literally up there with Resident Evil 0 with that 🫠

Caseoh on stream yesterday got asked which Resident Evil game to start with. He said people should start with Resident Evil 2 remake if you want modern gameplay and a good start compared to 0 or 1. I trust Case. Especially with RE so that's what RE game I will play soon 😎
