it's jilix overlap day and minchan month will be here before we know it so i'm thinking so much about @bulletfic.bsky.social 's soulmate square concept. because she's right and she should say it. graphic by her:

a graphic showing the connections between chan, minho, felix, and jisung.

chan is labeled "that's a dog, your honor". his connection with minho is labeled "married and making it everyone's problem". he is soulmates with felix, of course. jisung is "chan's first stray kid & his greatest accomplishment. jisung is his baby and chan would do anything for jisung's happiness."

minho is labeled "THEE catboy". he is soulmates with jisung, also of course. His connection to felix is labeled "minho's baby that he has the softest spot for, he would do literally anything for felix without asking a question or batting an eye. felix can get away with murder (minho would help him with it)".

felix is labeled "cat who acts like a dog". his connection with minho is labeled "trauma bond: being eliminated any only having each other". his connection with Jisung is labeled "best friends who kiss platonically turned best friends who kiss romantically".

jisung is labeled "dog who thinks he is a cat". his connection with chan is labeled "trauma bond: both almost lost their soulmates".

idk how the biology works here but Kant realises he's a sub!! and then has to deal with the fall out of that!!

010

AugustWriter (assigned omega by my oomfs) @augustwriter.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Trying to convince @lickrish.bsky.social to watch the Heart Killers and so far I've mentioned: - sub!top/dom!bottom dynamics - bad bdsm etiquette - style's slutty crop tops (along with the general burger joint assassin taming of the shrew nonsense)

I liked it a lot! Wish it had equal screen time for the two couples and a stronger ending (especially for Gao Tu) but it was fun and I always looked forward to watching it!

and all i'm thinking about is post-prison collared sub!Kant just going about his day in a thick leather collar. you know, tattooing people, having dinner with his bestie, brother in law, and husband/dom.

been in my bison/kant feels the past day. *slaps kabi on the ass* these two have it all: ✔️ dom bottom ✔️ bad bdsm etiquette ✔️ safewording to get out of being murdered ✔️ tattooing each other to claim ownership

Yeah that's so fair! As I said, I do enjoy a dominant bottom (and sub tops are !! yes!! I've written quite a few fics of that dynamic 😊)

110

AugustWriter (assigned omega by my oomfs) @augustwriter.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

I like both dominant and submissive bottoms 😊 just depends on the character for me! And I can definitely still read dom!Sky (there's so much fic out there for that!)

110

AugustWriter (assigned omega by my oomfs) @augustwriter.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

We need more bdsm au!! The people (us) have spoken!

000

AugustWriter (assigned omega by my oomfs) @augustwriter.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

That's so fair and probably the most common fan interpretation!! I personally see Sky starting as a power bottom because of his trust issues but then as he and Prapai fall in love, he finds safety and trust with Pai! Ends up exploring freedom in submission!!

110

AugustWriter (assigned omega by my oomfs) @augustwriter.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

and then there's Sky. Sweet Sky who begrudgingly admits he's a sub but won't sub for anyone, because all doms are horrible, right?? They're only concerned with THEIR pleasure and all are deeply sadistic!! enter Prapai - sweetheart Dom with a caretaking kink a mile long!!
