Why isn't Trump in prison? That is where he belongs, in my opinion. As I have expressed before, he should be nowhere near the WH. Liars don't make solid policies. In my view, as long as such corrupt insanity is tolerated, America will not have a sane and competent government.

Trump's smear machine wishes to punish for integrity or competence. It reveals a particularly corrupt system. It suggests that doing the "right thing" (being honest, uncovering truth, acting with integrity) is perceived as a threat by those in power, turning virtue into a crime. It is vengeance.

Yes. "We the People" are the opening words of the U.S. Constitution's Preamble, signifying that American government's authority comes directly from its citizens. The Constitution's goals: to form a better union, ensure justice, peace, defense, welfare, and liberty for present and future generations.

In contrast, Watergate is seen as a major crisis of political and constitutional trust. While it was a significant abuse of power, it pales in comparison to the human rights atrocities at the center of the Epstein case. Many view the Epstein scandal as far more horrific than Watergate. And so do I.
