Super Gitte searched for aliens, tested a few suspicious people for signs of being aliens, and eventually revealed herself to be one. (Super Gitte on instagram: www.instagram.com/gitte_schwenner)

Super Gitte holds up a magnifying glass in one hand and a microphone in the other. She wears a long white coat and black hat. Her face is strangely smooth, featureless, and partially hidden behind dark sunglasses.

Super Gitte dances on stage, back to us, in the process of removing the long white coat. A green upper body is revealed, and black yarn-like hair falls unnaturally over her head.

Super Gitte lowers the sunglasses with her green hands. Eyes are flat black ovals on the smooth face.

Super Gitte, having shed the human costume, is fully revealed as a green alien. She dances next to a fabric tube (containing Alec M Ballz)

Ixa performed a short musical set go buy Ixa's music on bandcamp: iixxaa.bandcamp.com/music and follow her on instagram: www.instagram.com/ixa_psyborg

Ixa sings into a microphone. The background and her skin appear as dark purple/blue. Her outfit and makeup glows neon green and magenta.

a long-exposure photo of Ixa's performance. She stands on stage, a smear of bright, glowing green and magenta over a deep blue background.

Ixa crouches on stage, eyes closed and head tilted to the side as she sings into a microphone. Her other hand is up, partially obscuring her face. Long, white-purple hair flows down over her shoulders.

Kristian Hamilton brought a comedy set, and went on to host the show in an outfit better for the hot day. (Kristian Hamilton on Instagram: www.instagram.com/artfromkristian)

Kristian Hamilton reads jokes from a notebook, dressed in a black skirt, white shirt and black tie.

Kristian Hamilton sits on the edge of the stage, grinning at a handful of papers pulled from a bucket. She's now wearing dark sunglasses, a black "the irre.Gular Show" crop top, cut-off jean shorts, and high-heel boots.

Kristian Hamilton, with a joyful expression, points a bright yellow, high-powered fan at the audience.

first to perform was Alec M Ballz and the alien that burst from his chest (Alec M Ballz on instagram: www.instagram.com/alecmballz)

Alec M Ballz stands in a spotlight in front of a red curtain. He wears a black suit, white shirt, black tie. Dark sunglasses are pushed up on his head. His right hand clutches his stomach.

Alec's expression is one of shock and confusion, mouth open in a scream. A fuzzy green alien, with a similar expression bursts out of his chest.

Alec M Ballz is motionless, dark sunglasses obscure his eyes. The fuzzy green alien protruding from his chest looks up with sparkly eyes.

photos from The Irre.gular Show: "Wizard of Oz but Queer" are up! Here's a few of my favorites, and a link to the full gallery audreypenven.net/photography-archiv…

Kristian Hamilton dressed as Dorothy, in a blue and white dress. She dances with a dog puppet in a basket.

Alec M Ballz as the Tin Man. With a serious look on his face and his body tilted back, he simulates turning a crank at his hip to mechanically lower himself to his knees. In his other hand, he holds a broken heart.

Magdalena Fortune Teller, dressed in a sparkly silver top and a blue headscarf gestures dramatically while speaking.

Bathed in red light, Rita Irritada sits on stage, body mostly covered under red sequined cloth. One leg is stretched out straight, out of frame. The other leg, bent at the knee, is raised up - foot at face level and toes extended.
