My trip has been amazing. Right now we are in Palermo. Today in Mondello for a beach day. Yesterday went to Cefalu. We were in Castellammare del Golfo before that. Took a private boat trip around the coast, went swimming. One day went to a ghost town then to the thermal spa. I LOVE Sicily!!

Granddaughter made honor roll all 4 quarters. They had a nice breakfast for them & her mom & I were allowed to go. So proud of all her hard work. Especially since she was in theater plus 6 dance classes (recital was this past weekend). Her schedule was super crazy, lol. Hopefully, she can relax now

My poor daughter trying to do that steep driveway. Its so deep and heavy she can literally only do a 4 inch strip, otherwise the blower stops. Her partner is here helping. I think they are taking a turn for each row. Snow seems to have stopped but the wind is just blowing the loose snow around.

Haaa..I went outside to shovel, at least a walkway, for when my daughter got home. These gentleman were plowing the neighbors driveway so I asked them to do mine too. It was worth every penny, lol. And this way she doesn't have to do it in the dark tonight.

I feel much better. I put on different shoes last night. Went to a grungy beer bar (Belgium is known for their beer) then went back to the hotel bar and had a nightcap. Slept deep for at least 8 hours, had a delish breakfast of waffles (they are known for that too) & now on my way to Brussels

So far today ...In Bruges... Did a canal tour, the architecture is amazing, lunch of mussels & fries & creme brulè for lunch. Spent way too much money buying Belgian chocolate, then a nap. Tonight may be more xmas markets, depending on the rain.

Last night in Strasbourg. Just beautiful. Ignore my picture. I was running on 21 hours of no sleep and a long travel day. The food was spaetzle with a creamy chicken/mushroom sauce & vin chaud (hot mulled wine). Every hour the tree has a light show set to xmas music. Just magical!

They have them at Walmart. But honestly, for an extra 2 bucks, you get the whole pie. I usually cut them in pieces, wrap separately then take them out as needed.

Went to the circus today. Was really good. Grandkids really enjoyed it, too. The Do Portugal Circus. If they ever come by your area. I highly recommend it.
