My meds and hormones have been messed up and now I’m 💩🥄🥣 in Facebook forums. 🤦‍♀️ Oh well. If people are fine saying with their full chest that they don’t follow minimum care standards for their profession, then I have no problem telling them to their face they should retire. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hating on sports and all things athletic was my “not like other girls” thing. I still dislike a lot of the culture, the misogyny and general aura surrounding *sports*. But now as a boy mom, I’m starting to appreciate that it can be a really great and healthy outlet.

You know what ages you prematurely? Pain. Constant, chronic, unrelenting pain. I had a hysterectomy 3 days ago; anyone who has seen me since says my skin looks amazing, I look less puffy, more well rested. I’m glowing. Because the surgery is helping me to manage just SOME of the pain my body has.

Listing my surgeries from most traumatic/painful/hard to recover from to the “easiest” it’s: 1) Spinal laminectomy, 2) ICD placement, 3) Colonoscopy, 4) Wisdom teeth removal (impacted), 5) Hysterectomy/appendectomy/removal of endometriosis, 6) sinus surgery.

Had a hysterectomy yesterday for Adenomyosis and Endometriosis. Even with the soreness of the surgery scars today, I still feel better than my baseline! Do not let them gaslight you into trying to manage this with birth control pills. Surgery is the BEST way.
