Sale of the collection Fursac in Brussels, lot 98: Francisco Guardi, "View of the Grand Canal in Venice", canvass, 44*69cm, 21000Fr. It's a variation on the Louvre painting (shown on the right), and as such harder to trace.

Sale of the collection Fursac in Brussels, lot 90: Jan Van Goyen, "The Riverbanks", 1653, panel, 37*58cm, 11000Fr. I haven't found the work in later sales or collections, and the image is too dark to really judge the quality.

This probably isn´t a 1620 impression... Dimensions are correct, looks like an impression, but condition would be remarkable and paper is some kind of high quality cardboard I think? Still, at 3 Euro (charity shop) seemed worth buying.

I'm often baffled by paintings with wildly varying aristic quality. This Leda and the Swan has a quite well executed Leda, but then you look at the Cupid and have to wonder if someone else overpainted this or what? 500€, 45*56cm www.interencheres.com/art-decorati...

Revisiting old blog posts: was this "Attributed to Mariana Van der Stoop" actually a (workshop of) Abraham Bruegel? Left the supposed Stoop, right a detail from a Bruegel from the Louvre. I should have bought this probably... auctionaugur.blogspot.com/2017/02/mari...
