Grid Run - a fragment #shader made with #WebGL codepen.io/atzedent/ful...
This image shows an endless, three-dimensional lattice structure made of metal, which appears like the interior of a gigantic, futuristic machine or an infinite labyrinth. The viewer is standing in the midst of this latticework. Some bars are very close in the foreground and appear massive. The gaze is directed into wide, tunnel-like corridors that extend deep into the background. The further away the bars are, the smaller and finer they become, until they disappear into the distance. The scene is rendered in very dark, monochrome tones. The metal shines with a dull dark brown, anthracite, and deep grey-brown. A bright, white light radiates from the deep ends of the corridors in the background, towards the front. It appears like the proverbial "light at the end of the tunnel". The light from behind causes the edges of the front metal bars to glow brightly, while the sides facing the viewer lie in deep shadow. The image exudes a cold, sterile, and slightly oppressive atmosphere, as there seems to be no natural exit and no end. The image is taken from a fragment shader, which can be found at the following URL: https://codepen.io/atzedent/full/LEbRoqy

Color Wheel #shader #codepenchallenge #cpc-color-wheel
Screenshot of my shader on CodePen, showing eight cards arranged in a circle like plates, glowing in metallic colors ranging from red to purple, blue, turquoise, green, light green, yellow, and orange. The background is reflected in the plates, which have decorative edges.

Self-Reflect #shader #codepenchallenge
The image shows a spoon on a wooden table inside a church. The spoon reflects both the church and itself. This image was created using a WebGL fragment shader and a technique called ray marching for a CodePen challenge on the theme of reflection.

QRP with your starry art! #shader #stars #codeart
The image shows a space anomaly surrounded by stars. The anomaly consists of spiral-shaped, semi-transparent arms. It possibly consists of several elements that appear to range from bright blue to yellow. The original fragment shader can be found in my profile on codepen.io/atzedent.

Retro Waves #shader #wccchallenge
This image was made using a shader. It shows a cloudy moon in the sky, behind snowy mountains, reflected in a wavy sea, with three birds flying in the center towards the mountains. The colours go from dark blue to bright red and all the way to the white of the snowy mountains.

The shader shows a rather dark abstract landscape scene in shades of gray with a surreal cloudy sky behind a rocky terrain with an erratic boulder on the left and a building made of three parallel slabs glowing red like lava on the right.

The theme of this week's #WCCChallenge is survival. As inspiration for a #shader I came up with a rather dark story (just because Halloween is coming up). The code can be found here: openprocessing.org/sketch/2407110
