A Howard High School student was reportedly hospitalized after an alleged locker room assault. The school has suspended its JV football program, but this could have ended far worse. Strong supervision and safeguards are needed to keep students SAFE and prevent this from happening again.

A Baltimore police officer accused of assaulting a man reportedly resigned in exchange for having assault and misconduct charges dropped. The officer allegedly shoved the man, causing him to fall down several stone steps. Resignation cannot become a substitute for ACCOUNTABILITY.
