there are like two more hardware purchases that I want to make this year if they ever actually go up for sale (ArcStation PS1 ODE & Corsair Warthog) then I can mentally check out on hardware for quite some time

adding a Special Assignment for the Elusive Targets in Hitman is the smartest thing they've done in a while because now I'm actually inclined to buy the DLC

always funny when my credit score changes by exactly 37 points every couple months, while I maintain zero debt and the cards get used maybe once a month "everything is made up and the points don't matter"

that youtube view count change will have zero effect on how I handle business but hey it'll be nice to see videos at least *look* like they can do 1000 views again, even if there is no tangible difference otherwise 😭

UNFORTUNATELY the only way to be sure a game doesn't have genAI bullshit is to play something that existed before its prevalence FORTUNATELY I have hundreds of those in physical media (and thousands digitally on the PC) you can poison the future, but you can't take the past

looking back at my records, between 2019-2026 I've bought 126 physical video games 68% of those on #playstation platforms (85 games) out of that 85 only two are exclusive (City Shrouded in Shadow, Demon's Souls) my backlog will outlive your business decisions

these console prices are not sustainable for a healthy video game industry hard to build a userbase to support games when the consoles are unaffordable, ripple effect.
