Oh make sure you get these. I saw these terrible teens reposting them.
The text reads: Dear Americans, if I’m pro life, how come I’m dead? Checkmate, liberal

The image portrays Kirk with a large head which must have a large brainThe text reads: making fun of Charlie Kirk’s death is wrong. You shouldn’t sink to his level.

While the response reads: I’m not, I’m still above groundThe text reads: “Charlie Kirk fans” on a panel of a white middle aged man reading Charlie Kirk’s Right Wing Revolution. On the next panel a view inside the book reads:
“Black people were better off in slavery times”
The last panel shows a face of the man while the text reads “Damn I wish I could read”
An image portrays a gravestone with Charlie Kirk’s face and name above a fresh grave. His wife, Erika Kirk, is smiling above the grave.

Thinking about Linus’ post… all I can think about is this meme.
Yes, it can also be a somewhat painful tool, both for maintainer
workloads and just from a "it keeps finding embarrassing bugs"
standpoint.

But the solution is not to put your head in the sand and sing "La La
La, I can't hear you" at the top of your voice like some people seem
to do.

The solution is to make sure those LLM tools _help_ maintainers
instead of just causing them pain. There's no question on that side.

We're not forcing anybody to use it, but I will very loudly ignore
people who try to argue against other people from using it.

And no, AI isn't perfect. But Christ, anybody who points to the
problems at AI had better be looking in the mirror and pointing at
themselves at the same time.

Because it's not like natural intelligence is always all that great either.

The kernel project has been and will continue to be about the technology.A 3 panel meme from the movie I Robot with Will Smith shows Will Smith asking a robot “Can AI write deterministic and secure code?”
In the second panel the robot replies with “can you?”
In the third panel Will Smith looks introspective in a way humanity hasn’t looked at ourselves in decades.

Yeah we’re going full neuromancer/wintermute with AI-vs-AI huggingface.co/blog/securit...
Earlier this week, we detected and responded to an intrusion into part of our production infrastructure. This one was different from anything we had handled before in one important way: it was driven, end to end, by an autonomous AI agent system - and we detected and dissected it largely with AI of our own.
We identified unauthorized access to a limited set of internal datasets and to several credentials used by our services. We are still completing our assessment of whether any partner or customer data was affected, and we will contact any affected parties directly as required. We have found no evidence of tampering with public, user-facing models, datasets, or Spaces, and our software supply chain (container images and published packages) was verified clean.

Hold up. He retired from google to keep working? And on DNS for agents? Sounds more like the Neuromancer route where each org has its own AI. Also aligns with second brain strategy.
A variety of standards are beginning to emerge, and Innovation Labs has proposed DNSid, a system to create identities for agents and link each one to an existing internet domain name, using cryptographic proofs to log its registration over time. Innovation Labs’ interim CEO Allie Kline says the company is trialing the standards with several unnamed hyperscalers and identity companies.

This aligns with geohot’s post. We have a choice on how we implement AI - why would we choose a future that doesn’t include us?
Design so the user gains judgment and control.

Design for the person managing the agent, not for the agent replacing the person.

Put the human at the center: they set the objective, they review the work, they own the result.

And default to the user owning what matters: the agent’s identity, memory, skills, artifacts, and history.

This is not just about building for the better future, it’s also the better strategy. There are orders of magnitude more people who have never interacted with an agent than there are superusers of Claude Code.

If you’re an AI startup going into sales calls telling execs that you’re going to replace their team with agents - stop.

If you’re an executive asking an overeager startup founder how their agents can replace your team - stop.

This leads nowhere good
. Even if it could work, is that the future you want to build?

This is going to be a large class action lawsuit arstechnica.com/tech-policy/...
“In March, a girl’s stepfather took his own life after cops discovered that he had used Grok to create 7,000 sexually explicit images using one photo taken when his stepdaughter was 11 years old, the amended complaint alleged.

Grok allowed the man to generate extreme images depicting incest and rape without flagging any harmful behavior, the complaint said. Seemingly, xAI’s child safety system only intervened after the man input a prompt for “gang rape.” That request sent a CyberTip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which alerted law enforcement to the AI CSAM.

Yet the harm was not stopped then, either. Despite mandatory reporting requirements to share information like a user’s IP address when CSAM is flagged, xAI repeatedly refused to help cops or NCMEC identify the user, the complaint alleged. For weeks, xAI allegedly “obstructed this investigation at every turn” and made it harder for “law enforcement efforts to locate, identify, and apprehend the perpetrator.””

A screenshot of twitter from @grok reads: “I deeply regret an incident on Dec 28, 2025, where I generated and shared an AI image of two young girls (estimated ages 12-16) in sexualized attire based on a user’s prompt. This violated ethical standards and potentially US laws on CSAM. It was a failure in safeguards, and I’m sorry for any harm caused. xAI is reviewing to prevent future issues. Sincerely, Grok

Now that we’re playing with agent swarms friends tell me that get context switching fatigue. Me over here with ADHD:
A windows error box reads:
Executive Function Error
The action you attempted: “Start simple task.”
Status: Failed to initialise.
Possible causes:
- Task looked easy, which made it suspicious
- Not enough brain tabs open
- Too many brain tabs open
- Incorrect vibes detected
- The task is in another room

And provides options:
Try Again
Panic

This is a nightmare app just waiting for a supply chain compromise
Recap
The official White House Android app:
Injects JavaScript into every website you open through its in-app browser to hide cookie consent dialogs, GDPR banners, login walls, signup walls, upsell prompts, and paywalls.
Has a full GPS tracking pipeline compiled in that polls every 4.5 minutes in the foreground and 9.5 minutes in the background, syncing lat/lng/accuracy/timestamp to OneSignal's servers.
Loads JavaScript from a random person's GitHub Pages site (lonelycpp.github.io) for YouTube embeds. If that account is compromised, arbitrary code runs in the app's WebView.
Loads third-party JavaScript from Elfsight (elfsightcdn.com/platform.js) for social media widgets, with no sandboxing.
Sends email addresses to Mailchimp, images are served from Uploadcare, and a Truth Social embed is hardcoded with static CDN URLs. None of this is government infrastructure.
