I'm just ranting now, but the only want to make it cheaper is having episodes only taking place in one room filled with tables made of painted cardboard. And if they do that people would then just complain that it "looks cheap" and still complain.

Also practical effects aren't automatically cheaper. Honestly, decent VFX is usually always cheaper. Why do you think studios moved away from practical effects in the first place?? And really good practical effects are VERY expensive, depending on scale.

People have such a juvenile understanding of entertainment financing where it's simply; big VFX = big budget. I think Marvel's infamous reshoots had tricked ppl into thinking that all VFX, in any series, is always overbloated and expensive. Usually its wages and permits that make shit expensive.

That's true, though I feel like with the MCU it's less of the standard "we ran out of ideas" and more so "This one reeks of a lethal amount of executive meddling and over 1,500 reshoots because we keep changing the script to tie into next year's Mouseman 5."

Yeah, I'll say Spider-Man and Guardians have been tied as the best MCU film franchises. It's strange how pretty much every other MCU film series has at least one entry that's just "the horrible one".
