So it's been two weeks since I last posted. Bought a new phone that only does calls and text, and it's been really nice for my mental health. I'll make sure to post on here whenever I'm doing music-related stuff, but I'm done with the whole doom scrolling thing.

When I lived in Indiana, two mayoral candidates went two different ways. The one slandered their opponent and the other never said anything about the first, only what they were all about and wanted to do. They won by a landslide.

I've had C1 for a long time, and I've liked them. They helped me out with things when my wife died, and even sent me a sympathy card. So I have no complaints.

I never really cared either way with her, but this election ad cycle for her has been nothing but "Vote for me because I know Obama!" It's been highly annoying. Just as annoying as the Mike Rogers' "Vote for me because I know Trump!" ads. I've now understood why I shouldn't like her.

Same. I then grew up and became a youth coach, and made sure to be the adult who always looked out for the bullied kids. Had a convo with a bully and he changed his ways. Years later, we randomly met and he said I changed his life and he said he became a youth coach like me. All it takes is one kid.

Jeanne Gibson, beloved “Rosie the Riveter,” passed away on July 29, 2026 at 100. Gibson became a welder at Todd Pacific Shipyards in Seattle, helping build destroyers for the Allied war effort during WWII. Gibson helped pave the way for millions of women who stepped into critical wartime roles.

It's all about founding something. I'm not the greatest musician, but I do it because I love doing it. I started writing songs to help me through the worst depression, and got talked into recording and releasing it. Had two people tell me it helped them with theirs. Definitely worth it.
