If I have my way, I will never contribute to 🇺🇸 medical research again as long as I live. Yeah, as lovely as Australia is, I don’t know if I will ever relocate all that way. If I leave the US I’m more likely to go to Canada (because of proximity) or Germany (because I ultimately want to study the GDR for a living). At least we have the internet so it’s easy to keep in touch.

Yeah, his mum and brother are still over there and he’s got a whole social circle he’ll be returning to near the Gold Coast. Plus, his wife (my bestie, we’re a triad) and daughter will be going with him. I unfortunately have a few more hoops to jump through since there’s no “Third Wheel” visa. :(
