A drying shelf filled with about 20 handmade cups. The inside of each cup has been glazed with a snow white glaze. The outside remains unglazed for the time being as they full dry.

Quick update on the roadrunners. Was worried they had abandoned the nest location for a bit but the last week they have been real active. So far I notice they go out hunting 2-3 times a day, morning/midday/afternoon before sun goes down. Today was the first time I saw them with a mouse not a lizard.

Had some leftover slabs that dried a bit fast. Made some #worrystone. Added some runes to each to make them rune stones! Will think about making more but probably won’t list them on Etsy. They will be a in person sale only sadly. #asemicwriting #underglaze #clay

Final layer of the kiln. Only did three and didn’t pack in as many vessel as I usually would. It with past bisques vessel will end up being a full glaze load.

Unloading a #bisque kiln load well it rains and thunders just outside. This weather and activity always put a smile on my face. Even if I’m down by other life things. These pots will be glazed and will probably outlast even me in this world.

Thinned out the garden and made myself a morning salad before my breakfast sandwich is out of the toaster. Plated on a #porcelainplate I made in college.

And that’s a wrap for today’s trimming. Have some lids I will need to trim tomorrow and I broke my extra two cups (always make extra!!!) but it’s alright. Cups that are still wrapped with plastic will hopefully have handles pulled and applied to make mugs! #ceramics #clay #functionalart #greenware

All 15 cups trimmed. 7 are left unwrapped to dry well the other 8 are covered for future handles.
