Based on the vibes I'm starting to think I should watch jjk. Anyways, pleasure doing business as always @modernmasquerade.bsky.social! #pokemonart #commission

A Riolu with steel-grey fur and orange eyes with blue highlights poses confidently, while dressed up as Yuji Itadori from JJK. Behind them, towering menacingly, is what appears to be the same Riolu. This version wears a stark white and black outfit, and appears with glowing gold eyes and angular orange face markings.

The two are standing somewhat back to back on a floor that bears the texture and color of blood, making faint ripples where they stand. The background is a hazy purple with the bones of a rib cage framing the outside.

chat is this what they call "pose practice" (no) anyways they have. move sets now. there might in the future be more than these coming idk. me when I contain multitudes👍 (Trivia: all names moves are learnable by a Zoroark.)

Comet form: Fezandipiti + Corviknight

A Pokemon that blends the navy blue armor of a Corviknight over the form of a Fezandipiti. Its feathers take on a redder hue than normal, borrowing from Comet's color palette as a Zoroark.

A text box in the upper right of the page reads as follows:

SET: "THAT BIRD THAT I HATE"
Move 1: Hex
Move 2: Substitute
Move 3: Toxic or Will-o-Wisp
Move 4: Knock Off

A Zoroark leans across the corner of the text box, grinning tauntingly with its chin on its hand. It wears a helmet and gauntlets that resemble Corviknight's face and body, and the back of its chest-fluff flares out in a way that resembles Fezandipiti's wings. The Zoroark's eye markings have been replaced with bright pink Toxic Chain shapes.

Below the previous illustration is an example of Comet using the move Hex with Will-o-Wisp. The projection of Fezandipiti uses its wings to hurl an orb of purple ghostly energy, with lighter magenta motes of fire dancing around it. The attack leaves a faint purple and teal afterimage.

Comet form: Kecleon+Mimikyu

A Pokemon that resembles a purple Kecleon, although with scribbled-on features and a shadowed lower body like a Mimikyu. Its tail is made from the same shadow.

A text box in the upper right of the page reads as follows:

SET: "PHYSICAL OFFENSE. WHY? FUNNY"
Move 1: Sucker Punch
Move 2: Low Sweep or Throat Chop
Move 3: Copycat
Move 4: Phantom Force

A Zoroark leans across the corner of the text box, smiling and laughing. Its ears resemble a Kecleon's frills, complete with gold spikes, and its face markings look scribbled on. Also visible is a jagged red zigzag across its neck.

Below the previous illustration is an example of Comet using the move Phantom Force. The projected image of Kecleon stands with its arms spread wide and its neck twisted to the side (resembling a Mimikyu's busted disguise), its shadow growing into a solid shape that resembles Giratina.

Comet form: Wyrdeer + Shaymin

A Pokemon that resembles a Wyrdeer, though its face is more angular like a Shaymin's and it bears the same spiked leg patterns. Across its back are red stripes that imitate the wing of Shaymin's Sky Forme. The Wyrdeer's mane and tail trail off into reddish wisps, borrowing from Comet's color palette as a Zoroark.

A text box in the upper right of the page reads as follows:

SET: "KEEP CALM AND USE SPECIAL ATTACKS"
Move 1: Calm Mind
Move 2: Dark Pulse
Move 3: Focus Blast or Flamethrower
Move 4: Sludge Bomb

A Zoroark leans across the corner of the text box, giving a thumbs-up although its smile is weary. On its arms are the same lighter fur patterns that appear on the Wyrdeer. Around its eye is the same bright-red Shaymin wing pattern, and behind its head there is a V-shaped 'halo' with an orb that resembles Wyrdeer's antler shape.

Below the previous illustration is an example of Comet using the move Dark Pulse. The projection of Wyrdeer stands with its hooves firmly planted on the ground, the orbs in its antlers glowing a deep red as a ring of dark energy sweeps out from its body.

Comet form: Absol + Jirachi

A Pokemon that resembles an Absol with sharper features and an elongated horn. Its horn has three Jirachi wish-tags hanging from the top, and there is a faint golden ring floating with the horn as its center point. The Absol's fur becomes darker and wavier at the ends, borrowing the grey from Comet's palette as a Zoroark. Its claws, and only its claws, are also red instead of the normal dark blue. The marking on its forehead is gold with a red outline.

A text box in the upper right of the page reads as follows:

SET: "WE BALL"
Move 1: Nasty Plot
Move 2: Bitter Malice
Move 3: Night Daze
Move 4: ???

A Zoroark leans across the corner of the text box, its face mostly in shadow with its eye glowing bright gold. Where an ear should be it instead has a pointed horn, again with a faint golden ring centered around the top. It points forward, expression unreadable.

Below the previous illustration is an example of Comet using a move not learned by Zoroark. Rings of purple, cyan, and reddish-black energy form around the center of its head - which flashes with a spark of bright red and gold.

The projection of Absol has mega evolved, expressing traits of both Mega Absol Classic and Mega Absol Z. Its fur is lighter, still ending in a grey gradient, but its features are sharper and it only has one claw-like wing. Although this is obscured by the attack Comet is using, this Mega Absol has an additional eye where its forehead marking should be.

(artist's note: the move is Doom Desire. I won't say if that's real or part of the Illusion.)

Just messin' with some Illusion settings today...

The original poster's half-unovan half-hisuian Zoroark 'sona, Comet, faces with their back turned to the viewer. With one finger it selects from a wheel of options, the selection displaying a Corviknight's mask.

Also drawn on the page, beginning on the left and moving clockwise, are concepts for:

A Fezandipiti wearing Corviknight armor. Its eyes are obscured by the metal-like helmet. It strikes a flamboyant pose.

A purple Kecleon with an exaggerated shadow. There are some conspicuous dots (holes...?) in its torso, and its tail resembles a Mimikyu's arm curled in on itself.

An Absol with slightly curled and darkened fur. Its horn curves farther than normal over its head, with a few red Jirachi tags dangling from the underside. Behind it is drawn a Mega Evolution that blends the traits of Mega Absol classic, and Mega Absol Z. The spot on its forehead has been replaced with an additional eye.

A Wyrdeer with a Shaymin's face. Its mane and tail trail off into red wisps, and the fur around its hooves is patterned in a similar way to Sky Shaymin's leg patterns. Its antlers are also pointed on the ends instead of rounded.

Glow-up time Patch notes: - added variant Absol as a quick fix to the mega evo vs regular evo dilemma (it's now a "g-max factor pikachu and eevee can't evolve" kinda situation) - shiny palette tweaked - "official" art style is pretty fun to replicate... #absol #fakemon

A bulbapedia-style page that first recites some of Absol's pokedex entries, then goes on to detail a variant Absol that inhabits a fan-made region. This Absol bears a shorter and less shaggy pelt, and the placement of its horn is mirrored. Instead of being able to Mega Evolve, it instead responds to the Shiny Stone to become the dark and fairy type Absphinx.

A digital drawing of Absol, Mega Absol, variant Absol, and Absphinx. Their shiny palettes, which replace the dark navy blue and light grey with reddish brown and pale orange, are also included.
