You might have noticed the ability to upload SVG icons for your project, that's because we wanted to make it easy for any developer to visualize the Atmosphere using the branding you decide. Icons are stored on your account and are updated/controlled by you. Developers can download here:

The data model is becoming more atproto-native. Project profiles, user profiles, portable reviews, featured lists, and What’s New updates all have their own lexicons/records instead of being buried in one app database.

What’s New is protocol-backed. Project owners can publish update notes with a title, optional version, and optional Tangled commit link. The latest update appears on the profile, with previous updates available in version history.

Reviews are live. Signed-in users can leave 1-5 star ratings, write short reviews, report bad reviews, and manage their own review history. Ratings stay hidden until enough reviews exist, so averages are more meaningful.

Project pages now feel more like app pages. Profiles can show screenshots, Ratings & Reviews, individual review cards, and a compact What’s New section with expandable update notes and version history.

Explore is now a real registry. Projects can publish public profiles with categories, app links, Bluesky/Tangled buttons, screenshots, developer icons, verification badges, and public JSON API endpoints for discovery.

Atmosphere Account is now an Atmosphere App. What started as an account provider page is becoming an App Store-style registry for the Atmosphere: project profiles, discovery, screenshots, reviews, updates, and protocol-native records. Check out the explore page: atmosphereaccount.com/explore
