The Role of Link Length Hierarchy on Dynamic Connectivity in River Networks Across Climatic Regimes
We quantify how the spatial organization of channel lengths control the convergence of fluxes across river networks Link-length hierarchy across stream orders controls minimal flow connectivity, ...

Now out: "Directionality-induced jamming in multiplex networks" (arxiv.org/abs/2510.22634). We uncover a previously unreported diffusion regime, termed directionality-induced jamming, in multiplex networks that arises solely from the directionality of interlayer couplings. (1/4)

This paper is incredible: one year of SWOT data gives us a much better picture of global ocean floor topography than all other data ever collected. And this will only keep getting better with more SWOT data. This one result may justify the cost of launching SWOT. www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

The global ocean covers 71% of Earth’s surface, yet the seafloor is poorly charted compared with land, the Moon, Mars, and Venus. Traditional ocean mapping uses ship-based soundings and nadir satellit...
