Is it just me or does anyone else find Nolan’s pompous, humorless, self-importance so out of touch with the reality of the present day that in a lot of ways he’s actually inseparable from the disgusting right-wing screechers having fits over the casting in his films?

Had the absolute honor of producing and co-directing this film for the opening of the KAGAMI+ exhibition at VS in Osaka. The experience is an incredible ode to Ryuichi Sakamoto’s legacy: youtu.be/5Ld2vKp7fxo

I was so bored and frustrated today in a client meeting - mainly with the people at my own company that I have the misfortune of working with - that I started a fidget spinner TikTok. I’m now going to put all my creative energy during working hours into running that.

Just as it is on a global political scale right now, at my Japanese company, the nastiest bullies, regardless of the fact they are actually completely useless & can’t do their jobs for shit, are the ones being congratulated and harassing & abusing the decent ppl who actually do the work 😫

Unfortunately I think there’s a lot of truth in that. The combination of that and the over tourism.

Just yesterday a woman wearing that pink one was bombing down the hill on the Yamate Dori on the pedestrian side and I had to jump out of the way. I thought I was in a Kamen Rider episode for a brief split second.

Difficult to get an official diagnosis. Understand that there are creative advantages to have that kind of mind. Understand that there are severe disadvantages and harmful outcomes to having that kind of mind. Here are a variety of very effective ND coping mechanisms for free in one place -PLEASE

Was listening to Still House Plants 2024 album & thinking “this sounds like a million bands we were on the same bill as when we were 18🤔” and the penny dropped as to why the album got so much love last year. Because it’s *very* Y2K, but a perfected sound of the real alt underground Y2K.
