I like this theory a lot more than the notion that Nintendo saw the success of BotW/TotK and decided it was time to fit 'open world' into every title even if it didn't need it with very mixed results.

Y'know there's something kinda beautiful about the fact that Silksong took so long because they were "having too much fun making it" instead of some big drama or failure or falling out with Xbox or whatever

Finally rolled credits on Yakuza 0 last night. Been chipping away at it since November. Probably the longest I've stuck with a game on stream (unless you count my bi-annual Destiny 2 week). Feels like the end of an era almost. What a great game though. VERY excited to dive into Kiwami soon!

We found Stardew Valley's jank evil twin 👇👇👇 youtu.be/jk7T37Y7I-c?...

Thumbnail for YouTube Video. The top of the thumbnail features bold text reading "Same Game?". The rest of the thumbnail is divided into two distinct halves. On the right-hand side is a character in the Stardew Valley character art style with green skin, a bright orange moustache, wearing a green shirt and a brown cowboy hat in front of a pixelated green-mountainous landscape and blue sky. The left-hand side features a dark orange background with the sillohuette of a pine tree. A 3D character with a similar design to the right-hand character stands in front. He has the same green skin and orange moustache, with a green floral print shirt and a white-brown cowboy hat.
