Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 9h

I lived here for 40 years. They seem motivated to get out and vote. And to vote down ballot.

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 9h

Haha

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 9h

It has been good!! We are MOSTLY hitting independents and registered Dems to get out the vote. Mostly people are motivated. So that has been heartening

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 9h

Them is some happy dogs!

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 9h

In the early 60s we had a cat named Pippin. So LoTR has been inspiring people for a lonnggg time.

Also calling around to recruit people to make calls and canvass and have had relatively good response. Relative to the last few elections.

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

It is looking pretty good mostly cuz people seem motivated to get out

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Oh beautiful. Barking is not always a sign of aggression. And the tail wag is a give away.

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Indeed!

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I am an Oregonian now but I really miss the diversity of NC. I lived here for 40 years. It is lovely to hear the accent again.

Haha!!! Yes! Boop - as it were.

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

We are in NC canvassing. Knocking on doors. I now realize that it is another way to get to meet dogs. So that has helped. A lot. If you or someone you love would like to meet dogs ... I mean canvass, give us a shout.

Kathy Bader @astrolabe.bsky.social · 26/08/2026
