My biggest worry was how they were going to write the other Scions out of EC since it became apparent from the EU trailer that they wouldn’t be around. I’m happy with the way they did it and it means I can stop being anxious for a while 😅

Visna was very cute and I enjoyed her interactions with Alphi. The writing was kind of heavy handed and too much tell rather than show, but if it means we can avoid big exposition dumps in EC, I’ll take it.

I’m so so glad we’re only bringing two Scions with us. FTR, I think they picked the wrong two (Alisaie and Estinien would be more interesting of a dynamic) but I can see why they were chosen. Makes me hope that the next few expacs will take 2 or 3 Scions each and tailor the story for them.

The Dissidia devs are cowards for once again making Y’shtola a XIV rep when there are way more interesting characters they could use.

I'm scared of how Urianger dresses just like how I do. Not even joking about that. #FFXIV | #FFXIVArt | #Urianger | #Blender | #Render

Please, Yoshi-P, I see what you’re giving the Estinien fans in 8.0 and humbly request the same for Urianger in 9.0. Also give him the new healer job!!!

I have spoilery Thoughts on the patch but I’ll wait the two weeks. It was solid overall, though. As someone who loves data mining, the direction of this patch has been obvious for a few months now, but the execution was well done.

Have a sassy-paper-holding Urianger doodle I totally forgot I drew 💖 #shmiart #FFXIVART #FFXIV

Urianger from FFXIV's Endwalker leading into Dawntrail Expansion patches. Based on how he held the paper when Thancred presented him with the missive from Koana in Tural. A tan, warm grey haired, yellow eyed Elezen man with long ears, wearing a revealing black top with gold accessories, holding a piece of paper and looking at to the side sassily

"Be strong enough to be gentle" Rust in peace Peter Cullen.

A colourful chill isometric drawing. hand drawn and coloured. Optimus is chilling, sitting behind a barn in a farmland. looking at the birds that just landed on his arm. It’s a nice summer sunset.

I understand the idea that sometimes marketing has to be a bit misleading, but nah, DT’s marketing was just straight up lying to our faces and I’ll never not be mad about it.

Yet another recent comm I finished. This time featuring that funky elf from ffxiv.

Urianger from FFXIV leaning/sitting on a stone bench, book in hand. He's wearing a long skirt with slits up to the hips, and a crop top sleeveless hoodie.

As much as I hated it at the time, I love the forced enrage during DSR if Hraesvelgr kills someone in P6. Annoying as hell but thematically beautiful. Also every mech in the TG Cid fight but especially the tether. Tank brain wants to take it but it’s Forbidden.

Caloric 1 from P12S P2. Genuinely my favourite mechanic in the game. Each pull, I’d end up working out my role as well as everyone else’s in the party just for fun.

Honestly same. There’s gonna be so little creativity because all of the bosses, music etc will be locked in by proxy of it being based on another game.
