I am going to do the smart thing and not push myself to try and stream tonight. This week has unfortunately been a bit rough and incredibly stressful and I have had very little sleep. I'm going to take it easy and rest this weekend and I should be back at the start of next week!

This is not a drill!!! I will be like in a little over 3 hours from now. Around 9 PM Atlantic Time. I am very anxious. It also may not be a very long stream. It really just depends on how long my voice will hold up. I can't wait to yap with you all again!!! Expect lots of scuff!! 😂

So, um, I am very anxious BUT as long as I am feeling okay and my voice is okay I plan on returning to stream tomorrow night. I hope you are ready for a big yapfest and boy do I have some wild stories to tell you! I will probably aim for a 9PM Atlantic start time. I hope to see you there!

YAY! My microphone came in today!!!! I just plugged it in and for out of the box with no tweaking it sounds pretty damn good! I think it sounds better than my old one honestly. I keep panicking every time I hit record to test in OBS because I am scared I am going to accidentally start stream. 😅

Thanks to someone's incredible kindness I was able to purchase my new microphone today. It *should* be here on Thursday. SO it looks like I will be returning next week after all! Please expect my tracking to be weird but you all expect lots of scuff on my streams by now. I can't wait to be back!! ❤️

I have figured out a budget mic to replace my almost decade old failing hardware. I just have to wait a bit before I am able to purchase it. So it looks like I won't be back from Hiatus this month after all and that makes me very sad. BUT I will *hopefully* be back by the week of Oct 5th.

I don't think the universe wants me to return to streaming. I have my setup the best it's going to get now. I plugged in my webcam to test some stuff in Vtube Studio. Webcam would not turn on. I had to fiddle for almost 15 minutes before it would connect & my tracking was acting really weird.

I think the stress of the past week is catching up to me and my body is not very happy. I am just trying to focus on the good things right now. We celebrated our sweet old man Thor's 17th birthday yesterday. Today we are celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary. ❤️

Been having a bit of a back & forth with my body. I'm still doing *much* better than I was but these little set backs are frustrating. The end of this week is busy. Thor's 17th birthday is on Friday. Then Saturday is our 17th wedding Anniversary. Stream return next week. Hopefully. 🤞💜

I want to return from Hiatus very soon but I am too scared to give a date because my body just kinda does what it wants when it wants. So maybe at some point in the next week or two I will let you know when I wake up one random day that today will be the day of my return.

Just a little Thor update. We spoke with the vet today. He has had some kidney issues before but was officially diagnosed with Early Stage Kidney Disease. Not a huge shock given his age (almost 17). We are starting him on a special diet and will re-check everything in a couple of months.

My anxious posting will stop now because Thor is back home!! Poor guy is still pretty drugged up and grumpy but he is back home with us now. The Vet will call on Monday to discuss the results of his blood tests.

I'm still very anxious so here is another Thor update. The Vet called and the good news is that the infection is gone! The not as good news is that he is still there because they need to do a blood draw to check on a few more things. A couple more hours and he'll be home again.

Update again on Thor. He is just too stubborn and would not give them a sample so he is staying at the Vet overnight. We should hopefully be able to go pick him up mid morning tomorrow. I hate not having him home with us. ☹️

Thor is still at the vet and if he doesn't give them a urine sample in the next like hour he is going to have to stay the night again. He is very old (going to be 17 in three weeks) and very stubborn. I really wanted him to come back home tonight. ☹️

Thor gets dropped off at the vet in like 6 hours for his follow up tests. This has been a pretty stressful couple of weeks. He is definitely doing much, much better now though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope everything comes back okay and he will be back home before we know it!

*Whispers* So... this Shapeshifter is going to be getting a new form soon. It is very very different than my current form and I am incredibly nervous. I think it is so cute and I hope you will too. This will be a big, long process so I will be coming back from hiatus in my current form.

New Desk is built! and it is very big! I am... mostly, sort of set up. I think it will be a bit of trial and error before I find the best and comfiest set up for me. I also will probably change my stream set up a few times too but a lot of progress was made today and I am happy!

I am absolutely *obsessed* with @hellmaidengame.astralshiftpro.com! It just launched in Early Access last week and I am having SO much fun. I adore the voice acting and the story so far. The gameplay, the art, everything is just fantastic. I can't wait to see how the game evolves over time!

I posted a little update to Discord and then forgot to post it on socials. 😅 I am hoping I will be back really soon!! The ETA of the desk actually updated since I posted in Discord and the desk should hopefully be here this week!!

So. a bit of an update. One of the biggest things stopping me from returning to streaming right now is actually my set up. I had to stop using my chair as it was causing me a lot of pain and I couldn't ignore that anymore. So I have been back to the couch.
Fun Fact: If you have been around for a while this is in fact the same couch I used to stream from when I was a cam streamer lol
However my current desk is really not made for streaming in general but especially not while being on the couch.
SO long story short (hahaha) I ordered a new desk. It won't be here for a little while but hopefully once I can get my setup comfortable for me again I will be able to try a short stream!

This heat is disgusting. I am so thankful we were able to get a new air conditioner for the basement. It is the only reason I am not feeling more miserable than I already am. Please take care of yourself. Especially if you are chronically ill or at risk. Stay safe, hydrated and as cool as you can. ❤️

I had like one or two days where I felt okay. I was starting to feel hopeful. Well those hopes were dashed pretty quickly. Chronic illness flare ups are baaaack. I am feeling like absolute trash again. Back to couch rotting for a while I guess. I'm beyond exhausted. 😢

That was not fun. I'm severely allergic to hornets. I was about to go downstairs. Then I see Mystique freak out, jump out of the window & run downstairs. There was a hornet. No idea how it got in the house or how long it has been here. Hubby took care of it though and everyone is thankfully okay.

Whenever I am able to return to streaming I don't think I'm going to be able to start my streams after 9 PM anymore. My sleep is far from fixed. This is likely as good as it gets but I'm sleeping at more "normal" hours now. I'm not sure what will be the best time to go live.

So in all of the chaos going on I am so happy to say that I was actually able to get Tomodachi Life. I just have to say that this is exactly what I needed right now. The fun and silliness is just the perfect distraction from everything else happening. My island already has so much drama! 😂
