Ahah were opposites then! I’ve been using regular UTAU since 2009 so all the new tech feels so foreign to me. Thank you so much for the help! That was very useful.

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 23h

Augh I appreciate you!!! I’ve only ever installed multi pitches on 2008 UTAU before (I’m old send help) and so openUTAU is very foreign to me.

what if i go insane from not being able to draw and i just channel all that energy into learning an entirely new voicebank type what then

PC is in the shop, so I'm going to work on some videos in the meantime TwT

concept: that peeker ych: as png/lipsync models for utau's and vtubers. Maybe if its just a png, i could have the mouth be animated with all the mouth frames.

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Once i get my PC to a shop I'm going to look for a temp solution so I can still work on comms-- even if it means no pen pressure or borrowing my roommate's pc while he's not home sorry for the scuff, and thank you to my clients for being patient while I deal w/this! regardless, I'll make it work.

PC is still acting strange even with the new hard drive, getting her to a shop on monday. I don't know what the heck it could be, all my PC's errors pointed directly at the old hard drive being busted. Here's hoping whatever it is is an easy fix.

…. Got the new hard drive in It. Is still happening.

thinking about making a little 'meet my utau' video for the main channel where i introduce Ama, her lore, and how she's kind of grown with me over the years. She's literally grown up with me, and talking about how that's effected her character and who she's become sounds very fun.

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Also, WOAH?? We're so close to 5k on my main YT channel, AND 2k on Ama's personal UTAU channel?!

Hi this is what happens when you take away my ability to draw; I start going insane needing a creative outlet lmao

020

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

So in addition to all the UTAU stuff,,, I started writing my first ever fanfic It’s shameless Hymn (my tiefling durge) X Astarion because of course it is I wrote 2k words already

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

The way I’m so tempted to just crank out a new voicebank while I can’t draw bc UTAU is the only program this laptop can actually run Like it’s SO bad yall I had to use an online video converter bc it literally couldn’t export my cover as an mp4 😭

I really love all the support we’re getting on my UTAU videos ;w; 💜 I’ve been using this program for a long time and it feels like coming home. Would… people want a tutorial series on UTAU, what it is, and how to use it/make your own?

I've discovered my enemy when it comes to writing: consistent tense.

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Alright, order is placed! it can take up to a week to have my new parts get here, plus install time, but we're shmovin.

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

ok, got FL up and running again :v yay

030

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

so this might mean no new covers for at least a bit unless i can get it up and running. i'll do my best.

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

ugh. FL studio corrupted itself, so i can't even use that from my flash drive T-T

The goal is 94% funded. I'm floored. I'm going to go look and see if its better for me to order the drive online or if i can get it in store. I'm going to leave the goal up in case anyone wants to help with my bills while i wait. But seriously yall....thank you. what the fuck. I'm sobbing.

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

....Thank you to the person who just donated literally over half of the goal (not naming names bc idk if you want to be named, ahah) i'm. sobbing.

Going to try to stay positive for rn, I’ll get the next ama cover I have in my backlog up asap. Thanks for sticking with me while I deal with all this.

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I will be able to still post UTAU covers... I think. I know I can run base UTAU on my laptop, I'm not sure so much about being able to make proper videos for it though.

030

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I'm so sorry to even have to ask for this. The goal covers the new drive, price of install, and a little to hold me over while I'm getting it fixed, because of course...this happened while i still have bills to pay, and now I can't take on more work until this is fixed. Thank you for your support.

Cas👻🌙 | VArtist @astralarts.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

This is a post I don't want to have to make. My PC's hard drive is dead. This happened so suddenly, I don't have the money for the replacement or install. My PC is the only way I can do my job, it's how I make my art. I'm at a loss here. If you can, any amount helps. ko-fi.com/astral_arts/...
