positive protest action is among my favourite things to see on my walk across the bustling city centre of #portsmouth shoutout to all the people involved in protesting barclay's cruel and unethical practices, including the portsmouth climate choir and socialist worker

inspiring to see so many people embracing humanity as they protest under the warm #portsmouth sun. i find it rather interesting how the left are seen as chronically online by many, yet i see a lot more of the left than the far-right out here: who is actually more present in the real world?

the portsmouth civic office building during a protest. there are roughly two crowds and a few scattered people in support of israel and the far-right. a man stands in front of the building holding up a british, imperial iranian and israeli flag on a pole.

the middle of the guildhall area. the far right is on the left, a small crowd of roughly twenty people. one of them holds an english flag while another holds a pink british flag with the words "protect our woman and children, stop the boats now!"

on the right side closer to the actual guildhall building, a large crowd is gathered, holding up rainbow flags. the crowd for the left largely outnumbers the far-right's crowd.

in-between both stands a line of police officers in hi-vis jackets keeping the far-right and left seperate.
