Astra is being sucked into a DS and turned into a Shinx, and there's a picture of Spade the deer saying "I'm here now".

got a cool new sticker! (Thanks @imkrisyim.com ! Brightened up my day today!) (and i found at least one secret word 🧠)

a sticker depicting a blushing otter with a sheet with eyes and mouth cutouts raising their arms like a spooky scary creature, with the text "freak in the sheets". Also visible are a business card and part of a word search

Testing an additional new feature for SonaSky ref, this would be a late addition to the "upload custom ref sheet images w/o a post" release, for uploading/referencing-posts-of art that isn't a ref sheet and displaying a gallery on the character page!

Two screenshots of a "SonaSky Ref Sheet" interface showing a new Gallery feature.

Top screenshot: A form titled "Ability to upload non-ref art/images to the 'gallery' of a character." Below it, a "Gallery" section reads "Add other art of this character, sourced from a Bluesky post or uploaded directly," with two thumbnail images already added (Astra, an anthropomorphic blue rabbit character in a dynamic pose, and a close-up portrait of the same character). Two buttons sit below: "Add from a Bluesky Post" and "Upload an Image," followed by a "Bluesky Post (URL)" input field with a "Fetch" link. A footer reads "Version: 1.6.0 | Made with 💙 by Astra."

Bottom screenshot: Header text reads "Adds gallery view at the bottom of the ref sheet w/ basic filtering if desired." Below is the resulting "Gallery" section as it appears on the character's ref sheet page, with a collapsible "Filters" button and the same two images displayed side by side, larger than in the upload form. The page footer reads "This is a SonaSky Ref Sheet - Want your own? Click here."

Stream cancelled 2026-09-16 - sorry :(

Discord message pining users with the "Notify-Twitch" role in Astra's streaming discord. It reads:

Hey again, I hate doing this but I'm going to cancel today. I don't have it in me to be "on" for any more time today, the day job has somehow continued to get more and more mentually and emotionally draining. I'm very sorry, I feel like I just got back on track from cancelling streams, but I don't think a completely emotionally drained bun would be a very good watch.

100% my bad, im dumb, didn't realize that there were more granular permission scopes. i just read up on them. atproto.com/specs/permis... Permissions are now scoped to records related to sonasky forms, and not other parts of the repo.

Screenshot of the forms app code, showing the permissions are now much more narrowly scoped to just this application.

1 more feat this weekend - in addition to the chronological + trending feeds in quote, I've now added "☄️ SonaSky Comet", which is an alt to Trending. "Trending" shows posts *from* users with SonaSky labels. "Comet" shows posts that SonaSky users engage w/ regardless if posts come from SonaSky users!

Finished The Left Hand of Darkness this weekend! Really, really enjoyed this, easily moves its way towards the top of my favorite sci-fi books. One of the most real feeling worlds I've encountered in a book. Felt transported to a very interesting, very *cold* world. Loved it!

Imagine if Bsky gave us this insight... ↖️: indicator, "this post was properly tagged!" ↗️: no indicator, if the image is NSFW, ANYONE can see even if adult content hidden ↙️ indicator, "was only flagged because of the label of shame" ↘️ indicator, "was properly tagged but bsky hates me i guess"

Screenshots of the examples described in the post, each being a redacted/sample post to not call out any particular specific users.

Four-panel comparison diagram on a dark navy background, illustrating different NSFW labeling states on Bluesky posts. Each panel has a heading and a screenshot of a post card with a green arrow pointing to a label.

Top left, "Example A: User Correctly Labeled as NSFW Themselves": A repost card for user REDACTED_A, posted 9 days ago, showing a green "Author Labeled" tag with a checkmark, arrow pointing to it, above the text "Example post body."

Top right, "Example B: User did NOT label, and Bsky Moderation hasn't hit them yet": A repost card for user REDACTED_B, posted 50 minutes ago, with no NSFW label shown. A red arrow points at the username. The post text reads "check out this unlabeled nsfw that bluesky hasn't caught yet."

Bottom left, "Example C: Post is only hidden for users hiding NSFW because Bsky Moderation hit this, but there was likely a short time where it was completely uncensored": A repost card for user REDACTED-C.com, posted 5 days ago, showing a red "Potentially Undisclosed NSFW" label with a warning icon, arrow pointing to it, above partially obscured post text.

Bottom right, "Example D: User did the right thing and labeled the post as NSFW but for some reason Bsky Moderation decided to still slap them with the label of shame...": A repost card for user REDACTED_D, posted 1 day ago, showing both a red "Potentially Undisclosed NSFW" label and a green "Author Labeled" checkmark side by side, with an arrow pointing to each. The post text reads "i 100% tagged this as nsfw but i bet bluesky will still give me the flag of shame because they hate me."
