I tested out all the insert cabling for the upper playfield as I made the cables, but there’s still nothing like seeing it turn on the first time. Witchcraft now has full playfield insert lighting working. #homebrew #pinball #gamedev #homebrewpinball #maker

Progress CAD of the cauldron from Witchcraft! This element is inspired by Orbitor-1 mixed with a rotating disc. At this stage I need to redesign some brackets and hopefully later this week the bottom and bumper will be spinning. #pinball #homebrew #gamedev

They’re all awful. Terrible IP from a terrible creator, but the Hogwarts Legacy one is also straight garbage. As I was watching the DLSS video I was amazed they put some of these out. Ideally you’d cater to your “best” examples.

Current state of Witchcraft Pin. At the center of the upper playfield is the cauldron for potion related modes. Entry is via the front, back (via an orbit), and the wire ramps at the top. Final sculpt will have ramps as cauldron rim. Pop Bumpers will have custom green bubble caps in real pin.

In progress Witchcraft Pinball Machine. Mechanics described in post. Playfield has a spell circle, purple flipper bats, and purple pop bumpers.

First crude attempts at the cauldron playfield element of the Witchcraft Pin. Eventually this will be a sculpt with spiral ramps in, but this allows me to test pop bumper spacing. #visualpinball #homebrewpinball

I ended up fixing this in an automation that will at least create the card on the public board if it gets the public tag. I will add a future update to the automations to move it around also. Now works on the public page.

A code prompt for an automation in trello stating the following:

when the green "public" label is added to a card in list "Planned", copy the card to the top of list "Planned" on board "techWitchCoven Site Tracking"

This code is used to copy specific cards between the private and public boards

And this is why we test things before actually moving on. . . . Apparently Mirroring doesn't work between private and public boards like I was hoping. Time to see if I can use automations to accomplish something similar to my intent. (Enjoy my alt texts)

Trello Public/Private Tracking Board setup. I wish linking cards worked differently, but it works for now. Time to move onto some of the items on the board now for the v.02 update.
