Speedran making a video on this since it's just that cool The new Scanner tool on sendou.ink has the potential to push Splatoon content significantly! It's never been easier to obtain and organize clips or otherwise decide on matches to highlight in videos than now. 🔗Link: youtu.be/7WHxmiYwBb8

Hey, you! Whatever you are going through, I want you to remember that you are strong. Getting better takes months or years of hard work, while it only takes a couple moments to get worse. Despite everything you've been through, you are choosing difficult path, and I am proud of you for that.

the mental roadblock is something i’ve been struggling with as well even as a low-level player, so hearing you speaking on this as well resonated with me ;; And i know you will be able to get past this hurdle alongside your team You got this, Basil, and you have my support🫂🩷

one of the most helpful videos about mentality/mindset for splatoon ive seen in a WHILE really helped me with starting to build my confidence back up, and a lot of my recent games have been going great since then!!

that kinda community building and willingness to give ppl chances led me to actually becoming a better player and getting closer to my style even if it isnt exactly hdive 100%. ik ppl wanna succeed and have strong teams, but it does make it harder to actually find teams to learn with.

111

aster★彡 @asterspl.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

And on top of that, i still fell back to simply chasing the best results or high XP due to not properly unpacking my mental and shaming myself for every time i fail and not saying my grievances out loud sooner Long story short, im trying to improve my mindset and not think about results too much

010

aster★彡 @asterspl.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

EXACTLY THAT!! Everyone wants to succeed but somehow doesnt let anyone in to learn the ropes For an example, i got a non-competitive friend to play sendouQ with me and some of my comp friends, and it was fun despite all the tech issues, we still learned something at the end of the day

110

aster★彡 @asterspl.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Did i have these mass realizations after watching pika‘s vod rambles? Yes Was my own experience part of it? Also yes, and my mindset was absolutely terrible

110

aster★彡 @asterspl.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Kinda came to terms with the fact that most of my problems cycle back to my mental and it feels like everything makes sense That on top of realizing Result Culture is really heavily enforced, it basically makes sense as to why no one takes lower level or newer competitive players seriously
