i get you! this is exactly why I'm trying to pull off this style, i just feel like it's a somewhat realistic speculation of how furries would look if they existed. imo it's more realistic than the avg "realistic" furry (animal head, human body) x)

arcane furries but they're not exactly what you're used to #arcane #viktor #jayce

Badge thing made for Eurofurence last year. Kind of rushed to be fair. #furryart

incredible facial stylisation here, I'm a fan

it's very slight so it should! he has a bigger braided beard now and some white markings on his hands, it's not much. i need to make a solid ref first but I'm definitely getting back to you once I'm done, thank you so much!

love mine to death to this day <3 if you ever take them again, I'm getting my other fursona for sure (also question - i very slightly modified the character's design, would you ever be open to incorporating these changes, of course at a fee?)

i forgot to mention i got a second-hand ipad for art and the first thing i drew to test procreate out was a study of my dog (the recent sketches are also drawn there... enjoying it much more than my regular PC workflow)

My art got into the Eurofurence conbook this year. I'm still processing that to be fair. But anyway, I don't believe I posted this fruit of three days of slaving over my desk just to finish it in time. Featuring my band of street racers. #furryart

And there we go, a ref od my oldest anthro/furry OC I've kept to this day. He deserved redemption, so just any art wouldn't do - had to be a reference

Asterion /recharging.../ @asterionvega.bsky.social · 27/06/2024

Thanks! I went through hell drawing that one (it's been redone ~5 times) but it paid off in the end

Asterion /recharging.../ @asterionvega.bsky.social · 26/06/2024

Another ref in the works. Granted he's a fairly simple character (because I made him in 2015 lol)

Asterion /recharging.../ @asterionvega.bsky.social · 15/06/2024

Designed a canine fursona a while back for fun. I don't really connect with dogs but he could be a fun outlet for future artwork

Lmao yeah wasn't worth it to come back to Twitter. Nothing like presenting a simple observation that not everyone agrees on a certain subject and being rudely told I'm making "unproven anecdotes without evidence" all while expressing... another opinion without any evidence either.

Another commission, this time newer, for NorthernRangerFursuits @ IG. This character is female, just animalistic. Making her work in my style was quite the challenge. Working on an alt with a background as well

Just a FYI for those that followed me after my newest post - that was NOT drawn by me, I do draw but my style is much different x) I plan on posting commissions I ordered too, though, so, I guess it's down to whether you like my characters specifically. Thank you all, by the way.

Thought I'd repost the BEAUTIFUL piece of Chiron I got from @krysiilys.bsky.social a while ago that shows his more mellow side. Still my lockscreen, it holds a special place in my heart.

Thought you might want to see this in that case lol. It's not new nor done but I couldn't post it here as it's auto - flagged as adult content by bluesky (even though it's not nsfw?) drive.google.com/file/d/1TPI2...

Horse in deep thought. Piece I did on the 16th as a treat - was my birthday - of my alternate fursona Chiron. I'd argue both are equally important, they just resonate with different parts of me. #furryart

kind of forgot this account existed anyway - on the lookout for artists to commission /in the future/ and support for the time being; advertise yourself or sb else if you can. requirement: yer anthro horses gotta look like horses and you need to be 100% sure you'd enjoy drawing this guy. #furryart

Bluesky keeps putting an adult filter on an image I'm trying to post even though I haven't selected one. That's a little weird.

A fairly old little scene I might touch up sometime; I changed the way I draw his face a little since. Asterion's really bad with words in certain situations, what can I say. #furryart

Closeup from Asterion's reference. This should have been simple, but I spent hours trying to make it look right. 3+ years without a finished ref... sigh. #furryart

The mom's actually based on my mom I don't see often nowadays but really appreciate. I hope she wouldn't mind. The dad's more of a work of fiction, but he does fit in the narrative so there's that.

030

Asterion /recharging.../ @asterionvega.bsky.social · 08/10/2023

Older sketch of Asterion's parents, more of my projecting. His mom is an empathetic and caring person with a love for cats, incense and an interest in spiritual matters. The dad, well, he left them to become a "rockstar" and is trying to re-establish a relationship with his family again. #furryart

A portrait of my 'sona I regretfully never finished because it's horribly OOC - you'll almost never see him smile and if so, I can't imagine it being this kind of smirk. I am still happy with the facial features, though, so I can't really scrap it completely. #furryart

Redraw from last year. A way of reclaiming a character I was bullied for (was based off a real person, which was supposedly revolting - nowadays, he's more band-based in general as I don't idolise anyone anymore) Shows how weird my style was (and is) very nicely. #furryart
