I'm unsure if the terrain gen mod I had effects ore generation, but this empty space was the size of the first iron vein I found and mined out to offer some perspective - it's around the level tainted enemies start to spawn

I genuinely recommend if possible trying to swap to bismuth bronze because if you've got a decent amount of gravel or sand about you the only part of it you have to actually mine is the bismuth - the zinc n copper you can get pretty commonly through panning .9.

also like you could probably guess to but like... mine more iron with iron first n foremost so you can have it on paw and bring a stupid amount of torches, iron veins can be absurd

gambeson armor rules - i like to wear some as a casual protective chestpiece something i will say is maybe try to get some more fireclay bricks made up because like.. the heavenly euphoria i got from having iron tools made me burn through them quick

what i personally like to do is every time I find an entrance to a cave, i prospect at its mouth before remotely attempting to delve - that way i can get a gist without accidentally dying to unknown circumstances if one direction isn't looking promising, head home n try another direction n9n

each bloomery can produce 6 iron blooms - if you've got a bronze anvil that should be strong enough to refine said blooms n shape them into ingots there are three different types of iron if i recall - magnetite, hematite and . one other i can't remember the name of
