Take a chance on Halfling Luck 🃏🎲 Our campaign has taken us to a casino city on a shattered moon, so of course Foxglove has to look the part

A digital illustration of Foxglove, a Halfling warlock, in a variety of their usual outfit. They wear a tiny top hat and a sash of fabric instead of their wooden mask, and they're wearing constellation cloak as a shawl. In one hand they brandish a hand of cards facing away from the viewer, as the other hand catches three golden coin. The background is a pink circle on a purple field: around the outside of the circle the words "take a chance on Halfling Luck" are written.

The Sweetsmith of Zweiburg 🍬 A fun illustrative piece of @kingmerryweather.bsky.social's Menhir's Fate character

An illustration of Hieronymous Sweetsmith testing his newest batch of sweets in his workshop. The Sweetsmith wears his classic red dublet and blue brocade sleeves and a teal undershirt; his hat is resting on a hat stand nearby. Through the window, The Rispetto Way bridge can be seen leading to Hammerplatz and Vellichor on the hill.

A digital illustration: Mae, a half elf, looks off to the left while winking and grinning. She poses her hands in a heart shaped using her index and middle fingers. The background is a pink gradient, and text reads "I'm your friend, I'm your girl, I'm your little chaos".

I think my favourite part of the Warrenguard game I run are the moments where my players just RP amongst themselves, regardless of whether it's a trivial, light-hearted moment or something more serious. Which I think makes sense, because those are some of my favourite moments as a player too

Down Bard Aka ✨everything went wrong and now my hard is hella cursed✨

Mae, a half elf bard with auburn plaits and pale freckled skin, lies on her back on cracked earth with her arms askew. She wears a white cropped vest, blue trousers, and pink round glasses that have half fallen off her face. Her tricorn hat is upside down next to her. She has a bleeding cut on her forehead and a black mark on her chest that sprawls out in black tendrils across her upper torso. A shadow of a seagull falls across her face.

I love DND because what do you mean I've been playing a character for four years and I'm still learning things about them

A photo of handwritten notes from Aspyn's DND campaign. In black in is written "dark energy, bad vibes" and then below that in pink ink is written "Mae likes to fight things when she's sad" with an additional note of "specifically with men?" In black ink above it.

I hit my reading goal for 2025! In 2026 I'm focusing on working through my TBR pile more than howany books I read total 📚

Aspyn's reading wrap up according to Storygraph. They read 20 books, with fantasy as a top genre and an average rating of 3.91 stars.

Aspyn's total books read in 2025, most notably the Daevabad trilogy by S.A. Chakraborty and the Shades of Magic trilogy by V.E. Schwab.

Aspyn's 5 star reads of 2025: A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab, and the Daevabad Trilogy by S.A. Chakraborty (The City of Brass, The Kingdom of Copper, and The Empire of Gold)

I've spent the last few days frantically writing up a modern AU for one of my d&d parties and the design doc has now reached over 3.5k words I just like imagining our little guys getting to be silly young adults without the weight of the world on their shoulders 🥹

A screenshot of Ellipsus a word processing software. The document has 3594 words total. The body of the text reads:
"Karaoke!! AU Overview. A low-magic modern fantasy university AU featuring The Auburn Sinners and their friends. 'Low-Magic Modern Fantasy", a modern setting where characters retain their original lineages but magic is minimal and the setting is otherwise modern, including fashions, food, and popular culture."

Almost as soon as I posted the original I decided to see what it would look like without the extra details and I think I like it better 🤦🏻‍♀️

The same comic as in the quoted post, but without any writing except for the speech bubble in the first panel.

A Tender Goodbye 🎶 And I'm a goddamn coward // but then again so are you 🎶 The Lion's Roar, First Aid Kit

A 7 panel comic between Mwfanwy/Mae, a half-elf bard, and Seaward, a half-elf pirate fighter. Seaward has blonde hair and green eyes and wear a white shirt, dark brown trousers, and a compass around his neck. Mae has dark Auburn hair and blue eyes and freckles, and wear a green sleeveless pirate coat with a blue scarf sash and striped brown shorts. The comic is set in the crows nest, where Mae is saying goodbye to Seaward before she leaves the ship. In the first panel, Seaward says "Stay safe girlie" as she prepares to leave; her seagull familiar watches her go. Three consecutive smaller panels show Mae's crisis: 1) she clenches her fist on the bannister, 2) she exhales, pondering, and 3) she turns around. In panel 6, Mae has turned back to Seaward and kisses him. In the last panel, Seaward stands at the top of the crows nest, confused, while the seagull squawks. Mae has jumped down onto the ladder, making a swift exit.

I've almost finished Legends ZA! As it's the first game I've played as my OC, I think she deserved a little doodle

A digital illustration of Felicity "Flick" Eden-Hughes, a Pokémon Trainer OC. Flick stands with on hand on her hip and the other holding a pokeball with her legs crossed in front of one another. She has fair skin and freckles, blue eyes, and short orange/red hair with bangs and a dark green headband. Flick wears a cropped red sweater vest over a white blouse and a dark green checked skirt with knee high cream socks and black and red sneakers. She has three more pokeballs on her belt, black sports gloves, and a black choker with a pink heart charm. Flick looks to the right at her partner Pokémon, Fletchling, who hovers in the air beside her. The background is a muted teal green. In the top left corner is a text box reading: Felicity "Flick" Eden-Hughes. Region: Galar. Partner: Fletchling. Type(s): Fire, Flying. Badges: (there are four icon depicting the Grass, Water, Fire, and Fighting Galar League badges)

Three days of promoting LARP at MCM Birmingham. Three different looks. One tired Aspyn. Many thanks to @heftyyeti.bsky.social for organising another fab weekend and being an amazing human, and to @kingmerryweather.bsky.social for all the driving, emotional support, and generally being awesome

Aspyn dressed as 5am Pearl from the Life series in a red velvet Capelet and red moth antennae. They have a fake scar drawn over her right eye.

Aspyn dressed as her LARP character Safira in a white blouse and purple doublet with deer antlers. She holds a coffee cup in one hand. They have a fake scar drawn over their nose and right cheek.

Aspyn is dressed as their previous LARP character Persica. They wear a yellow flower crown with a rose quartz pendant, a white blouse, orange corset, and a green dress. She also wears a chiffon cape with orange shoulder anchors; the chiffon is white with a green ombre near the bottom. She has faux freckles that are barely visible.

Reasons I'm glad I still wear a mask: A cold went around my work team and pretty much everyone got it and had to take time off and I (so far, knock on wood) have been fine. And that's just with cloth masks and taking care of my immune system. After my COVID struggles I'm glad things are looking up

Aspyn crouches down outside the raccoon habitat facing away from the camera wearing an orange cardigan and grey beret. A raccoon can be seen behind the fence standing on grass looking up at the visitors. Some other guests, including a buggy, can be seen to the left also watching the raccoons.

A raccoon stands on some rock work next to an empty artificial stream. Behind her is grass and more rock work.
