I went grocery shopping and found fresh tamarinds from Thailand. They always bring back one of my favourite movies from the 70s: The Tamarind Seed starring Julie Andrews and Omar Sharif. For hubby’s brunch: plum, avocado, egg, pointy pepper, melons, grapes, blueberries, orange. 🍜

I went grocery shopping with my son, and we had the lunch buffet at a Thai restaurant: a vegetable salad for the starter, and a creamy chicken soup, tofu, chicken meatballs, and beef for the main course. I love spicy and flavourful Thai food; it leaves a wonderful aftertaste. 🍜

Every country has its own taste preferences. Savory and sweet fruit fillings go well together. My own favourite topping: cold smoked reindeer, red onion, blue cheese, asparagus. It’s a Finnish specialty.
