Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Location for the gaming weekend, with my friends and I! 000
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Weekend session with Bob playing Mission 3 of Star Wars: The Mandalorian Adventures! Felt smooth until the final rounds when we realized the on-map threats were a distraction—the beacon was the real danger. Scrambled at the end and clutched the win! #StarWars #TheMandalorian #BoardGames 040
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Spent Saturday teaching Azul Kids to my daughter over at Games and Stuff! It’s a wonderful, simplified version of the original tile-layer that makes drafting easy and pure fun for a 5-year-old. She loved it, meaning we have a lot to look forward to next weekend! 🐸🧱#BoardGames #FamilyGaming 010
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 09/10/2026My personal board game buying has slowed, but our family shelf is still expanding! Just picked up SquishyLand in Rainbow Reef to help our 5-year-old daughter get more comfortable with her reading. Hoping the tabletop magic makes learning extra fun! 🧩📖#FamilyGaming #EducationalGames #BoardGames 010
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Finished day 2 of the getaway with two games of Star Wars: Battle of Hoth! Piloted the Rebels against BK's Empire and secured two wins. First match was pure hot dice on my end, second match was BK rolling garbage. A fantastic pick for light tactical gameplay! ❄️ #BoardGames #StarWars #TabletopGaming 040
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Finally tested out #AshesReborn: Red Rains! Played a couple of matches with Ben and BK against two different Chimera decks. Secured a hard-fought win over the Corpse of Viros, but got stomped right after by the Frostwild Scourge. Excellent co-op gameplay loop and a great way to put cards to use! 🔮🎲 000
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Learned SETI: Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence last October! An incredibly impressive, complex space Euro with an amazing rotating solar system board. I floundered without a real strategy and finished last at 103 points, while Dan crushed it for the win at 170! 🔭🚀 #BoardGames #TabletopGaming 1150
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Flashback to last October's MTG Commander pod with BK and Rob! We all ran precons for an incredibly tight game where everyone came super close to clinching the victory. In the end, BK's Bloomburrow deck managed to pull ahead and secure the win. #MTGCommander #MagicTheGathering #CardGames 020
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Throwing it back to last October's gaming weekend! Opened day two with a match of Ashes Reborn. Ran my James Endersight deck right into BK’s Odette. His list perfectly countered my setup. Carved out some windows but couldn't seal it—lost a close one with BK down to 2 Health! #AshesReborn #CardGames 020
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Hit the table for some Wednesday night Vampire: The Eternal Struggle! We all ran starter precons, and my Malkavian deck was pure gas. Played aggressively, devoured my prey, and swept the entire table for a clean victory. Fun game—now I need to buy cards and start deckbuilding! 🩸🃏#VTES #CardGames 020
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 02/10/2026My daughter got Pretty Pretty Princess for her birthday and we finally played! The gameplay mechanics are basic, but she had a massive amount of fun putting on all the jewelry. I'm certain it'll see the table again—who doesn't love dressing up like royalty? 👑💍#BoardGames #FamilyGameNight 000
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Tried out Star Trek: Captain's Chair with Rob! Thought it'd be another basic deckbuilder, but I was totally wrong. Incredible asymmetrical starting decks, great table presence, and tons of upgrade options. I'm completely hooked and buying a copy immediately! 🖖🚀#StarTrek #CaptainsChair #BoardGames 1120
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Played a game of Water Dragons with my daughter a few weekends ago! It’s a great HABA kids' game where you race your dragons across the sea to their nest. She took the win, felt super proud, and we paired it with some sushi. A fantastic way to spend a quick hour together! 🐉🌊#BoardGames 000
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 28/09/2026My daughter is fascinated by the Rush Hour demo at Games and Stuff! She’s crushing the Beginner logic puzzles and pushing into Intermediate. Love seeing her grit—no frustration on the hard ones, just pure determination. Offered to buy it, but she picked another squishie instead! 🚗🧩 #BoardGames 030
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 27/09/2026My daughter is still obsessed with playing Dinosaur Volcano Battle at Games and Stuff! It takes some cleanup and she has to get super close to blast my dinos, but she has a blast. I've offered to buy it, but she chooses a new squishie every week instead! 🦖🌋 #BoardGames #FamilyGaming #MDGaming 030
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Picked up the new My Little Pony TCG Pinkie Pie starter deck! Now I have two decks ready to go so I can start teaching the game. Plus, it locks down a deck for my daughter's favorite character once she's old enough to read and play. Can't wait to test it! 🦄 #MyLittlePony #TCG #CardGames 000
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 26/09/2026New game arrival: Splendor Kids! My wife loves the original Splendor base game, so this looked like a fantastic gateway choice for our five-year-old daughter. Looking forward to getting it onto the table this weekend! 🏰💎#BoardGames #FamilyGameNight #Tabletop 130
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Tried a demo of Six-Sided Seas over at Games and Stuff! Total blast of a game featuring dice rolling, high-stakes push-your-luck action, and tons of tactical choices each turn. Didn't quite get to finish the session, which means I probably need to buy a copy! 🏴☠️🎲 #BoardGames #TabletopGaming 070
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Another game of Abalone with my daughter! Her improvement is awesome to see. This time she was actively reading the board, directly countering my moves, and even stopping her own attacks to block mine. Still playing a little easy on her, but she's catching up fast! #BoardGames 020
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Getting organized for the annual cabin gaming getaway! First game packed and ready to travel is Marvel Champions. Built decks for the four newest heroes and sleeved up the entire Fear No Evil expansion into a single travel bin. One down, many more to go! #MarvelChampions #LCG #CardGames 030
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Scored a clearance rack deal at the local shop! Snagged the #UniVersus King of Fighters Challenger Series decks (Team Rival & Team Hero). Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 20/09/2026My brother and nephew are hooked on the SWU Twin Suns format, so I picked up the new precons! Now I have four fresh decks to field. Already tinkering with the upgrades to brew up some surprises for the next family game night. #StarWarsUnlimited #TwinSuns #CardGames 030
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Finished card game night with Commander! Ran my Cloud deck against Matt’s ultra-efficient Captain America Equipment build and Elias on his trusty Dinosaurs. Matt optimized early and took me down, but the Dino stampede couldn't be stopped. Elias wins! #MTGCommander #CardGames #MagicTheGathering 011
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Family game night brought more Twin Suns action! Strategy is improving, but my brother and I still couldn't secure a win—Elias took both matches. Feeling like my defense is slipping- I might need to drop some more Sentinels into the deck to lock things down. #StarWarsUnlimited #TwinSuns #CardGames 030
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Weekend game of Abalone with Liza! She wasn't as focused today, but she still loves it and wants to play constantly—definitely time to buy a copy. Seeing real hints of tactical growth, even if she still hyper-focuses on specific marbles. Love watching her learn! #AbstractGames #Tabletop #BoardGames 040
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Fresh arrival! Got my hands on a Cyberpunk TCG booster box. 36 packs means plenty of card pool to dive into. Already got a local opponent lined up, just need to set the play date and start deckbuilding! #CyberpunkTCG #TCG #CardGames 030
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Taught Carcassonne to Sveta and Ben! They loved it and tied for last place. I was cruising toward a win until Marina pulled off an epic heist and stole a massive city from me. Payback is coming next game! 🏰 #BoardGames #TabletopGaming #Carcassonne 080
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I still havent used any of the bigger expansions- I cant wait to get to them! I will likely do them one at a time too, unless my wife requests otherwise 000
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Have any favorites? Do you play with multiples at a time? 100
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Cracked open the Carcassonne Big Box! Marina wanted to start testing expansions, so we kicked things off with The River for a bigger, more dynamic layout. She wasn't entirely sold on it, but it’ll likely stay in the rotation. The Abbot is up next! #BoardGames #Tabletop #Carcassonne 130
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Played Dorfromantik: Sakura with Dan, Marina, and Kaitlyn! A beautifully relaxed, tile-laying co-op. It was a massive hit—Marina enjoyed it so much she told me I have to buy it immediately. Can't say no to that! Anyone else have experience with this one? How do you like it? #BoardGames #Tabletop 010
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Tried out Operation Barclay with Dan! Think intense WWII military intelligence meets poker hand building. Had a brutal run as the German side trying to track down the British routes, but the deck manipulation and bluffing mechanics are top tier. Need a rematch soon! #BoardGames #TabletopGaming 021
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Got in a weekend session of Flamecraft Duals with Dan! We bought it for our wives, but had to test it first. Super fun, beautiful components, and a tight finish even after a tough mid-game. Would definitely recommend. #BoardGames #Tabletop #Flamecraft 010
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Weekend gaming with my daughter! 🎲 Another round of #Abalone, and she's genuinely starting to pick up on tactical play. She's learned to shift her marbles out of harm's way when I attack, copying my own defensive moves. She's getting so clever—she'll be a real threat soon! #BoardGames 021
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Finished a card gaming day with a DBS Fusion World starter deck match against Elias! He ran his favorite Beat of Ki deck against my Evolve build. Bad card draw left him stuck at just 2 Ki, shutting down his gameplay completely and giving me a handy win. #DBSFusionWorld #CardGames 000
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Family game night with Mood Swings! 🃏 Still using the starter collection, which keeps every matchup interesting. Tried a stealthy strategy to stay under the radar, but ended up getting completely shut out with zero points while Matt took the win! #MoodSwings #BoardGames #CardGames #FamilyGameNight 030
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Got the family to try out the #StarWarsUnlimited Twin Suns multiplayer format! Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Family Commander night! 💥 Took down both games running my Szarekh, the Silent King Necrons and my Hearthhull deck. Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 05/09/2026New arrivals! 📦 Grabbed the The Heist and Embracing Power starter decks for the new Cyberpunk TCG. Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Ran a Malifaux demo game over at Games and Stuff! A new player ran my Silken King crew against BK's Elite crew, ending in a perfect 5-5 tie. The deep gameplay hooked him completely—he soon after ordered his first models. Another local opponent secured! #Malifaux #Wargaming #MDGaming #FLGS 010
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Weekend gaming with my daughter! 🎲 She's fascinated by the abstract classic Abalone. I have to go a bit easy on her for now, but week by week she's getting more clever with her positioning. She'll be beating me legitimately soon—so proud of her! #BoardGames #Abalone #FamilyGameNight #AbstractGames 080
Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Car gaming session! 🎲 Tried out the newly released roll-and-write Dungeon Kings on the Queen's Treasury map. Scraped together a Bronze win with Quiet Zuri. Steve P @asmoridin.bsky.social · 29/08/2026New arrival! 📦 My wife loves #Everdell, so picking up the Everdell: Emerland Collector's Edition at the game store was a no-brainer. Don't know much about it yet, but she's already eager to play it, which is the best recommendation a game can get! #BoardGames #TabletopGaming 010
