We wrapped up the legislative term this month and I’m proud to announce that our team passed 13 bills out of the Legislature! AB 1583 was signed into law earlier this Summer and AB 1574 was adopted in the budget. The rest of our bills are sitting on the Governor’s desk awaiting his signature.

Earlier this week, we presented AB 1984 in the Assembly’s Banking and Finance Committee. While the bill won’t be receiving a vote this year, I’m proud to have put forward this legislation with the support of a dozen of my colleagues to finally get money out of our politics here in California.

Happy Women’s History Month! AD-02 is home to the movement that paved the way for Women’s History Month as we know it today. From past to modern-day leaders, our society is a better place because of the incredible work from women all around us.
