This type of hypocrisy from "Christians" is one reason I don't speak to a few family members. One used a private clinic to end a pregnancy, but wants it to be illegal in Canada. The others don't think health care should be free, want it run like the U.S. but have had life-long medical issues.

Their gov't decided to place tariffs on Canadian goods and to financially attack Canada. They need to ask their own gov't for a reprieve. It's not the Canadian gov't responsibility for something the U.S. gov't has implemented which is happening to the residents on U.S. land.

I work for a white collar U.S company in Canada, non-mgmt role. Started 2005 @ $38000. Now I make $4000/yr more than in 2005 🙄 Our company has no raises for performance, strictly cost of living raises every 2-3 yrs of 0.005% to 0.008%. We follow the U.S. model, hence no raise unless you're mgmt.

Our P.M completed trade deals with other nations that are now progressing. With new countries being added to trade deals weekly, it seems products from the U.S. aren't nearly as sought-after as they once were. Especially after our sovereignty was threatened.

As a 70's child, I was so mesmerized by the team! I'd watch them on tv & beg my parents to take me to see them, to no avail (more of they never were near our farming community than anything else). But they sure were the talk of the playground in elementary school, & well beyond.
