I hope it works out for ya!

It’s ~2 hours of pre-recorded movie, followed by an hour of the headliner DJ with a pretty chill/static visual for a total of 3 hours. Show ends around 2:15AM Here’s the schedule they had up during opening weekend

Yikes, what happened? 🤨

Or order an extra coke to your seat midflight

Still wagging from seeing Unity @ the sphere on Friday & Saturday nights. The creative teams that worked on this truly brought the worlds of Insomniac & Tomorrowland to life in a way only the Sphere can deliver on. Video from the floor on night 1.

I’m vibrating at how awesome my new PFP from @attacracc.bsky.social came out! As anyone who’s hung around me for more than a few hours has surely heard: Buc-ee’s isn’t a gas station, it’s a lifestyle!

Didn’t end up making it out to the show I planned to yesterday… On-call week was exhausting (next week will be worse 🥲) and a cozy, fluffy nap was absolutely the move

No idea what your budget is, but I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my Montblanc wallet (and other MB gear). It’s definitely a luxury splurge, but after ~10 years of being STUFFED with too many cards and hundreds of thousands of miles of travel, it’s held up super well.

Fuckin hufffffff, I wanna get my paws in next 😈

“I’m not getting enough value out of the card given my current lifestyle, am considering dropping it, but wanted to reach out and see if you could see any retention offers on my account before I make my final decision” IMO don’t beat around the bush, be polite, but y’all both know why you’re there

Asic Fox @asicfx.space · 12/06/2025

Delta has done right by me through good times and bad. IMO their product is a bit better than the other legacies, but much less so than 5-10 years ago. Being SEA based my options are Alaska or DL; while I’ll fly AS if flight times/routing is *much* better, I’ll choose DL whenever I can.

The T-Echo is also pretty good, but it’s not water resistant, the e-paper screen can be a bit fragile, and the reset button is in a really stupid location. If you’re looking for an all-in-one communicator (no phone + app required), the T-Deck is a solid choice if you can handle engineer-UI.

Asic Fox @asicfx.space · 10/06/2025

YES! What you want is a “T1000-E” they’re around ~$40 from manufacturer, are water/shock resistant, have an integrated antenna, and last ~3d on a charge with GNSS enabled, 5+ with it off.

Between being on-call & dealing with an infected wisdom tooth, last week sucked. Finally able to think again that the antibiotics are doin their thing and the pain/swelling is almost gone. Looks like a beautiful day for a nice backroads drive & some more hacking on PackTracker

Head empty, no sight, no sound, just feeling your leash/harness being tugged and letting your dom explore and enjoy you 🥴 Auditory/visual sensory deprivation while getting pet/cuddled is also a fucking vibe

- At the end of event, squad returns radios back (hopefully lol) - 24h after end of the event (start/end date are in config), app resets/wipes and goes back to enter event code screen for the next adventure (3/3)

020

- Day of event, radio pairing screen unlocks, I loan out radios to squad for event, walk through pairing process - App applies config (modem settings + channels + identity) from pre-downloaded info to radio and pairs - All event long, no internet/network connection needed for map/chat (2/3)

120

My general flow is: - radio nerd of the group sets up a squad on the web portal, gets an event code - everyone else downloads app, enters code, sets up profile (name/emoji) and downloads Radio & Event config, friends list, and offline map tiles (this step happens AT HOME on WiFi) (1/3)

210

I’ve had great success clipping pre-configured T1000-E’s on my lil liabilities and finding em later. Very low success rate at guiding non-technical folks to use the official Meshtastic app to chat/find me. My goal is to make it simple enough to use while your keyboard drips off the screen 😋

120

Yeahhhh, the Meshtastic FW works great for this use case, but the apps are hot garbage that require the user to be on the spectrum to chat over the spectrum. I want to simplify it all down so I can clip a radio on a non-technical friend’s pack for the weekend and not give a UI lecture :P

020

Sure does! The radio project I’m building atop (Meshtastic) is specifically designed for low/no connectivity usecases like that… but the client (iOS/Android) apps are hot garbage UX-wise, requiring a lil ‘tism to understand; I’m writing a super simplified app for the non-technical crowd :)

Hackin on a lil project to make chatting with/finding the squad at festivals and other dense events where cell networks fail easier!

I was not expecting to see the VCCC, or have to think about my ties to that world in a past life right after waking up 😂

Both? :3 I’d love to come visit sometime, and it’s been forever since I’ve gotten some art of Asic 😅

Asic Fox @asicfx.space · 27/05/2025

I gotta take you up on that sometime 😈 Be it art or IRL, I wanna get my paws (or more) inside ya!
