I understand why members of Congress have dropdowns for subjects you're reaching out to them about. But it feels insulting when you reach out to an office you've worked with before regarding anti-trans language in a bill, begging them to vote NO, and after they vote yes, receiving this:

An auto email a week later from Senator Bennett's office not anywhere near the mark on what his constituent reached out to his office about.

I have sat in her office advocating for sexual assault survivors & reproductive rights with trans women alongside me, who, btw, utilized the women's restrooms in House & Senate office buildings w no issues. A bigot will shake your hand, listen with false empathy, and talk shit as soon as you leave.
