Absolute horror. Like pennywise offering you a yellow balloon levels of horror.

020

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 17/12/2025

The horror evey time in see that

120

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 17/12/2025

Yeah I think between that and the hanahaki, the tuna melt scene did something to me 😅

010

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

Obviously there'd be a happy ending, but like omg the angst.

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

Ilya trying to fix it, but nothing works. And then forcing himself not to fuck up to get as many perfect days with Shane as he can yet he never wakes up with him because he always wakes up alone because he's caught in a fucking time loop 😭

100

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

Has anyone done Groundhog Day for Ilya and the tuna melt day yet? Because I can't stop thinking about it.

100

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

Okay. 8k if Shane getting Hanahaki sent off to my betas.

120

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 15/12/2025

So. Hollanov Hanahaki anyone? Because these boys clearly aren't suffering enough yet...

120

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

It's not a good title, but sometimes you just gotta work with what you got 😅

010

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

Not posting a fic because I can't think of a title is just sad so I'm giving myself two minutes to come up with something and then I'll just have to live with whatever my brain comes up with.

110

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

I know Ilya's the one yearning and pleading, but that's because he knows, okay, and Shane's so far in denial, his body needs to force him to confront his feelings. (I also adore Ilya Hanahaki, there are already amazing fics out there 🥰)

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

Heated Rivalry is giving me real brain worms, like what do you mean the muse just hit me over the head with 4500 words of Shane getting Hanahaki after episode four?

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

Yesssss. As a millennial, that song hit especially hard omg.

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

Screaming at you next week immediately! Although next week will be much more happy and way less anguish, but still. It's also important to scream about the happiness.

First red white and royal blue 2, now season two for Heated Rivalry, next year is looking UP

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

If I had known I would have screamed at you! 😅

100

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

Ugh, the music choice for the club scene, I swear they chose violence with that. And I will!

100

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

Upside of deciding my own hours: I can watch them new episode immediately. Downside: none of my friends have seen it yet and I'm sobbing alone 😭😭😭

Always happy to spread the love! Well, it's technically not available where I am either. There are ways though...

Okay, gonna have to rewatch heated rivalry. For research.

So do I rewatch the first three eps of Heated Rivalry or do I reread The Long Game? The day really has not enough hours.

Fifa has always been evil, now they're also pathetic.

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 04/12/2025

Unfortunately writing Heated Rivalry fic now 😭

020

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 04/12/2025

Both. But as you know, I do a lot of research for my fics and neither the books nor the show give you a lot about hockey itself 😅

110

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 04/12/2025

❤️❤️❤️ Maybe I could DM you at some point? 😅

100

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 04/12/2025

Actually I might have to bug you about hockey stuff bc my brain insists on writing for this fandom now 😭

110

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 04/12/2025

😅😅😅 Honestly right now I'm just basking of the feeling of being in a fandom while new content comes out. Rwrb is still a long way off and everything else was so long ago 😅

110

Ash T. Thief @ashtraythief.bsky.social · 03/12/2025

Unfortunately obsessed with Heated Rivalry now 😭

After years of writing fic, I still get nervous posting a new one. Is that a thing? Does it just never go away?
