Out of Sweden’s 7.78 million eligible others in 2026, about 1.33 million eligible voters were born outside Sweden. Far Right blames these voters for losing the election this year. If true, Sweden should be thankful to these foreign born voters to keep Sweden with Swedish values!

One silver lining in Sweden’s election: for the 1st time, the far-right Sweden Democrats (SD) have seen their vote share fall, dropping from 2nd to 3rd largest party in Parliament, from 20.54% in 2022 to 17.6% in 2026. True to form, they call those who didn’t vote for them “mentally handicapped”!

After speaking to Al Arabiya TV about the rise of the far right in Sweden, I went to vote in the Swedish general election. I voted for the party I dislike the least. In a democracy, you rarely find a perfect party or candidate, so sometimes you have to vote to keep the worst one out.
