"Good on defense..... good on defense. Working on her offense" 😒 Has she criticized anyone else?

💡Ash Lux💡 @ashluxl.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

From what she said I assume LA isnt her main residence. A lot of players main residence isn't the same city nor state where they play.

Someone was complaining about this commercial idr why exactly but left out the fact they BOTH play in Dallas also both assumely are still signed with Gatorade. So this is a great and cute decision

I too would choose Cloud based on talent but assume Laney is the cheaper version 😅

💡Ash Lux💡 @ashluxl.bsky.social · 27/04/2026

Cloud is a better defender and probably cost more. Better steals, blocks, assist less turnovers. Laney brings offense based on visuals but they already a lot of scorers once they built the super team. I looked at her stats and she barely eeks out on points and rebounds but does have a better FG%

I know rookies usually take a few months to adjust. I thought she would be ahead of the curve. Billings and timpson should be respected close to LA even if refs don't play a factor

💡Ash Lux💡 @ashluxl.bsky.social · 26/04/2026

I thought I posted my preseason rankings I need to move LA up (I haven't seen the rookies play yet 😅 so i might need to adjust again) and DC down below Chicago 😭 I need to let my Kitron and Austin bias go 😬 I just be rooting for them 😭 Betts I thought would dominate a lil immediately #wnba

ATL vs CHI DALLAS vs INDY I'll allow Seattle vs Portland because of geography How are the rest key matchups?

Overall talent and production. If she could score 25 in 10 minutes vs someone who gets 26.5 in 32 minutes they would award the 26.5 🙄😭

*That's if they don't do stat manipulation too much. For example leave her during a blow out against the bench to pad or if other teams bench their rookies to help the ROY favorite. Like Becky has to play Aja more because "stats" because they won't give her MVP based on...

💡Ash Lux💡 @ashluxl.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

Dominique will dunk on a Mabrey Tammy will lead the league in turnovers AT 3 triple doubles Miss A'1 will get the MVP and DPOY flat out and the league will stop playing in her face ROY will go to the rookie on the worse team because "stats" vs actually best player*

My preseason predictions. Idk much about the rookies nor the benches 😅 Will adjust after preseason. Refs will will that team deep into the playoffs again. I need to check the playoffs format this year's since the new teams idk Still top 8 or we have east vs west

💡Ash Lux💡 @ashluxl.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

Idk if all fantasy games are like the one I played. I had to choose the 7 players I wanted to count each game day. I had like 12 players to choose from. I could pre select the roster each day for the season but if a player gets injured it doesn't automatically adjust.

💡Ash Lux💡 @ashluxl.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

Rank your top 25 players so you don't panic on draft day. See which gets the highest points and what deducts points. The one I was in turnovers deducated points so I didnt draft AT. Be on time for the draft so you can choose players. I played once and it was too much work 😅

I paid the lil $40 already with auto renewal. I'll watch most games on a bootleg cable or stream when not on league pass 😅 I sleep weird hours so it's good to be able to watch the games later 😅 I wouldn't have paid if I knew they would be on cable everyday 😬

This is all so much funnier when you remember how long the WNBA dragged its feet on expansion, with Engelbert citing a need to be overly cautious and make sure the W was expanding the right way

💡Ash Lux💡 @ashluxl.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

I'm currently in it on Threads over her terrible dribbling. I get it she has to say something that isnt easily disproven with stats. Since the Olympic break they are trying to make her a passer since she isn't good at shooting nor ball handling

000

💡Ash Lux💡 @ashluxl.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

I do hope this will eliminate the back to (especially cross country) back games. I haven't looked at schedules yet to see if they still got back to backs

💡Ash Lux💡 @ashluxl.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

ALL? 😭 They are gonna stick them deep into the playoffs again 😬 What does she think transition means? Chucking a 3 where the other team gets an easy 2 from a long rebound isn't a "good transition player." Did she mean the turnovers? That causes easy 2s for the defense

💡Ash Lux💡 @ashluxl.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

Not many teams have centers. A lot of teams don't have point guards either 😅 Teams with 2-4 not a problem for her on defense. I do think 1-3 offensively for Rickea is doable
