Ashley Kirkland @ashleykirkland.bsky.social · 13/06/2025My goals this year were to land more auditions, build my show reel & resume, and to hopefully book at least a job or two. Since January, I’ve booked 3 & have a few pending callbacks I’m hoping to hear back from soon. Believe in yourself & don’t give up on your dreams. #actor #acting #audition 010
Ashley Kirkland @ashleykirkland.bsky.social · 20/04/2025On a film set, I was asked by a DP, “What is your goal here? Fame and fortune?” I answered, “not at all.” He scoffed and said, “then why the hell are you here?” I’m here with a love and passion for acting. This is me, disheartened, yet moving forward. Focus on the passion and art of it. 010
Ashley Kirkland @ashleykirkland.bsky.social · 06/04/2025I had an audition tonight. Two very long scenes with a French accent. I almost talked myself out of it, but one thing I’ve learned about myself is that when I feel discouraged, I push myself even harder. So, even if I don’t hear back, I accomplished a lot tonight and there’s much to be proud of. 000

Ashley Kirkland @ashleykirkland.bsky.social · 04/03/2025As someone who taught themselves to suppress emotions for so many years, learning to release them is completely rewiring my brain and makes me appreciate acting on an even deeper level. Ashley Kirkland @ashleykirkland.bsky.social · 26/02/2025Recently, I had an audition where I was given a prompt and asked to completely improv the scene. To be honest, improvising intimidates me. That's why I jumped at the chance to do this. I love to challenge myself. youtu.be/1Ml1XpMG5v0?... #acting #actor #selftape #audition #improvyoutu.beAshley Kirkland Student Garden ImprovYouTube video by Ashley Kirkland 220

Ashley Kirkland @ashleykirkland.bsky.social · 15/11/2024One of my favorite scenes from The Haunting of Bly Manor. This episode is so heartbreaking, but Hannah Grose was such a beautifully written character. #blymanor #tniamiller #monoloque #thehauntingofblymanor #acting 030
